of three main Iranian nuclear sites.
This, according to five insiders.
Who spoke with NBC News,
the intelligence gathering saga and highly politicized effort
to ascertain just how much of Iran's nuclear program
was truly destroyed during the U.S.
attacks on Iran called the Midnight Hammer
on June 22nd continues and now
NBC News is reporting that it was likely much less damage inflicted
on two among the three facilities than previously thought.
One of the three nuclear enrichment sites in Iran,
struck by the United States last month, was mostly destroyed,
setting work back there significantly,
the Thursday report said, but the other two.
were not as badly damaged and may have been degraded only
to a point where nuclear enrichment could resume in the next few months
if Iran wants to, this according to a recent U.S. assessment
of the destruction caused by the military operation
Five current and U.S. former officials familiar
with the assessment told NBC News.
Also via Reuters, one of Iran's nuclear sites
was allegedly destroyed in the U.S. strike.
The assessment was issued in a briefing to some
U.S. lawmakers as well as American defense officials
and even allied countries in recent days, officials told NBC.
No one is willing to tell us which site was destroyed
and which two were merely set back
in operations, despite this new
U.S. intelligence briefing stating that two of the sites among
the three, Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan,
were less badly damaged than previously believed.
The Trump administration is sticking
by the President's insistence that they were all

as the president has said and experts have verified, Operation Midnight
Hammer totally obliterated Iran's nuclear capabilities,
White House spokesman Anna Kelly
said in a statement responding to the NBC report,
quote, America and the world are safer
thanks to President Trump's decisive action.
The White House, as of late, additionally warned
It is ready to attack Iran's nuclear sites yet again.
It's perceived that the Islamic Republic is trying to revive
and utilize its sites
its uranium enrichment capability.
Certainly Israel would welcome such a move,
as would war hawks in Congress.
Some are already advocating for more U.S. militarism.
