This video will show you just how bright a Crochet Lite Crochet Hook is and what it is useful for. I also will give tips on other things the light-up hook can be used for on my blog.

Hey everyone, it's Deja from CrochetEverAfter.com.
Today I'm doing a little review on the Crochetlite crochet hook.
I got this a couple of years ago.
They are still around.
And I'm sure if you've never seen one or seen it on,
you might have been a little curious to see how bright it gets,
so I thought I'd do a little video on it so you can check it out.
I'll give you a little comparison first.
before I turn off my lights and show you how bright this is.
This is the Clover Amore hook,
so you can see that the crochet light's a little bit longer.
The actual length of the hooks is
about the same. This is a different size hook,
so it's a little bit bigger than the actual
crochet light, but the grip is a nice, comfortable, wide grip.
It's got kind of the
elastomer rubber, I think is probably the same kind
of stuff that this whole hook is made out of.
right here for you to grip onto which is nice.
It has a compartment for your batteries in the back
so if you're wondering where those go it's a nice little sliding
I'm just waiting.
compartment. It takes three little button batteries.
They do sell them separately. It
comes with these three but you can
also get more from the actual company so it's easy to replace
Um, I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the light
though so you can see how bright this gets.
And I want to go completely dark
so that we don't lose everything, but let me go ahead
and turn that on.
So you can see it gives quite a good glow at the tip of it,
almost like a little magic
wand.
So you can see that I can illuminate some stuff,
you can actually read the...
The size on my Clover Amour.
Now one thing that I've found that this is a good hook for
is working with dark yarn.
So when you have a dark yarn, if you don't have enough light where
you're at, this can actually help you find your stitches.
So I can actually see where my stitches
are with the light on. Usually I'll even have my regular light on,
but this kind of gives just a
Just a little bit extra.
So you can see that my stitches are a lot easier
to see with the tip of that light pointing
right at them.
So it can come in handy for dark colored yarns.
Using it just on a daily basis, I don't know if you would,
unless you do a lot of nighttime
knitting, or I'm sorry, nighttime,
I'm so used to my husband calling it knitting, a
A lot of nighttime crocheting
that you would have a use for it.
It's a fun little novelty item, but it can come in handy.
I will also, if you check out my blog,
I'm going to give you other uses that you can
use this for, but just so you can see how bright it is,
that is what it looks like.
So if you have any questions or if you have the hook
and you have any other uses that you think
If you have any questions that you think are helpful for it, leave
those below so we can all learn from you, and thanks for watching!
