Now, we want to get to Fort Bend County
because there's a seat there as well for a county judge position.
It's against Republican Daniel Wong,
who's been in the interim there holding that position.
He's going up against Democrat Dexter McCoy, and here we go.
Looking at the numbers, 60% of the votes now going to Dexter McCoy,
the Democrat, compared to Republican Daniel Wong at 40%.
Let's get to Rashi Vats.
She's been going to Fort Bend County.
All right, Rashi, I hear a lot of cheers in the room right there.
He's actually supposed to take the podium any moment,
so of course we'll bring that to you live,
but we just came from Daniel Wong's watch party, headed over here,
and Daniel Wong, we actually interviewed him live here on Fox 26,
and he said that the way the numbers are going,
he is open to now for the last two months of his term,
if he doesn't win, to work with Dexter McCoy to make sure
that Fort Bend County is the best that it can be.
Like you said, he's been holding that position for five months.
That's after KP George, the former county judge.
He was suspended because of money laundering charges.
So now we have Dexter McCoy, who is projected to win.
We're here at the Dave and Buster's and taking a look right here.
There are a lot of supporters
and they have been closely watching just all of the wins.
And obviously very happy and excited about that.
So, yes, we're about to hear from Dexter McCoy,
who is the projected winner.
And we'll bring that to you whenever that does become available.
But, yes, we were at both parties.
And now here is where it seems like it's going
to be the big win, Anthony.
Thank you.
