Don't get caught up in Notre Dame hype, Miami's season on the line three weeks in November
Nov 4, 2026
For Miami Hurricanes on SI, I'm Christopher Walsh with Just a Minute.
You know, the Canes have been on an incredible run
this year under Coach Mario Cristobal
and survived North Carolina and going to the last month,
a lot of momentum,
and everyone's getting really excited about everything,
and now we have Notre Dame.
And here's the thing that I just cannot emphasize enough.
This is not a one-game stretch at this point.
This is really a three-game stretch.
And you're talking about a team that had its bye week, October 10th.
We're already three, four weeks past that.
Going to start running out of steam a little bit
as we get through the end of the regular season.
Plus, you have this massive hype game, South Bend.
Everyone's going to be incredibly pumped for it.
And then you've got to come back and play
Duke, and you've got to play Virginia Tech.
Trap games, let down games.
Yeah, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
So it's.
It's, yes, fighting Irish is, you know,
a one game big hurdle, but the reality of the situation
is if Miami is going to make a serious run here for the national title,
it's going to need to have
one loss at the most kind of thing, because it's just,
you got to get, you got to get the buys
and the schedule hasn't been the toughest.
So not just one week, focus on three weeks.
If this team can get through that, it can go all the way.
Just a minute. I'm Christopher Walsh.
