Bray Hubbard on Not Being Recruited By Lane Kiffin, Previews LSU

Never spoke to him. He didn't recruit me when I was in high school. So, you know, obviously when Pete was here, obviously Pete was the D coordinator when Lane was at Ole Miss. Pete recruited me, but I never spoke to Lane. Brian, knowing that LSU's whole wide receiver room is new, has watching film on those guys been confusing at all, considering they've only played eight games together? I mean, no, because... It's Lane Kiffin's offense, so it's not something where Lane's going to change up the system just because of new receivers. So, I mean, it's not going to change. Their system is their system, and just because different guys are in the position, it doesn't mean they're going to get out of their identity. Last one. How do you think you'll be able to limit their explosive downfield plays and really stay composed and mentally focused throughout the whole game? I mean, we just got to play sound in our coverages, and everybody's got to do their job. I got to do my job. Whoever else is in there, whatever, five are in there. We just all gotta do our jobs and limit the explosives. We've been playing well as a defense, but giving up the explosive plays can hurt you. So that's what we gotta limit.
