This is the same as the previous review of Big Bad Wool, I'm trying to improve the volume. Please let me know if it is still too low. Thank you!

Hey everyone, it's Deja from CrochetViagra.com.
Today I'm going to do a little review on Big Bad Wool.
And this is one of the yarns that I got in my yarn subscription boxes.
You can check those out by checking out my website to read
and see more about those.
But I'm going to talk about Big Bad Wool.
The kind that I got was alpaca, and it's a 50% wool, 50% alpaca blend.
And these hanks have 95 yards each, so it's kind of a small amount.
You won't be able to do too much with it
by itself if you have just one hank.
I'm going to do an airy type cowl,
but they gave me four hanks in the yarn subscription box,
so I'm going to put the three colors together into a pattern
and see how well they work out together.
They look like they'll be a good match,
but that's about 300 yards, so that's good for a scarf.
And then, if all goes well,
I'll be giving away this extra hank, so stay tuned and see
how the pattern comes out,
and I'll let you know how well I like the yarn.
So far, it wound up very easily,
it was nicely tied together so it was easy to take out the
ties and wind it on the swift.
The yarn itself is really soft.
Very, very soft. Alpaca is usually a very soft type of yarn,
so it's a great blend.
And I'm going to go ahead and start my project,
and I'll show you what I have at the end.
I finished my alpaca projects,
and I was able to make a cowl and a beanie,
and still have some yarn left over from my four...
Hanks all together. I did have to use that last hank.
Sorry guys. I can't give it away
But I had to use a little bit of extra brown for the beanie
because I did the top in brown
But you can see the color combination is really great
I love the colors all together and this yarn is so soft
It was so nice working with when I was crocheting
because the alpaca in it makes it just super soft
It's like silky to work with when you're crocheting with it.
So it's really a pleasure
And then afterwards, it doesn't need blocking.
You can wear it right now because it's so soft.
You don't have to soften up the fibers.
So it's a great yarn overall.
I would totally recommend it.
It crochets wonderfully.
I did have to almost frog this entire beanie,
so I know that it does not get stuck.
So even though it does have wool in it,
it frogs out really easily,
so you don't have to worry about your yarn getting stuck on itself
when you have to rip out a project, so that's also another definite plus.
So overall, great yarn. Totally recommend it. I will definitely
definitely
be buying it again.
And if you like the patterns,
they are for sale on the blog, so you can go
head over to the blog and check them out. And thank you for watching!
