What if instead of printing out your labels on a piece of paper,
you could just print them directly on the packaging?
Well, let's look at this product.
Welcome back to Good Tech Cheap, I'm today's host,
Matthew, and today we're going to be
taking a look at the Printician Handheld Inkjet Printer.
This is the expert kit, it comes with all kinds of packaging,
but as you see right here,
it's got a screen on it,
and you can literally print directly on packaging.
But as you know, in every episode of Good Tech Cheap,
we do a full unboxing and review,
so let's get into it.
Welcome back to Good Tech Cheap,
today we're going to take a look at this Printician Expert
Kit, but let's go ahead and look at the case.
The kit arrives in this protective sealed case right here.
Very, very nice. We'll see
when we open it up that everything has its own home.
so right here it does have a mesh inside to protect everything
and slots for all your individual pieces
so very very nice looks like you get a little
usb stick of data right here you'll be able
to see that it's four gigabytes very cool
looks like we have additional mounting screws
as well a usbc to c cable right here we have
the battery for the device as well
and you can see right here it has the usbc port on it
this is a cover for the actual handheld printer
so you can protect the laser aspect of it
and now getting into some of the really cool things
on the expert kit you do get all these
little different kinds of mounting kits
so first up we have the conveyor buckle right here
we have the laser buckle
which is also included as well a scanner buckle
And this one looks really, really nice, so very cool.
Then you also get this pipe buckle right here.
This mount right here also has the ability to be upgraded.
By combining these plates to it,
you'll be able to get a narrow edge positioning buckle.
Very nice.
We have our ink cartridge which is also included.
Very very cool.
And you also get this little ruler system right here as well.
So very cool.
And now the handheld printer itself.
This thing is so nice.
Right here on the front we have
this really really nice screen for it to be able to see
everything that's going on.
We'll go ahead and pull that off.
Right here on the front is part of our lasering system,
part of the rollers right here as
well.
We have our trigger here for activating it.
Here we have part of our plug and play so you'll be able
to pull the data and stuff from it as well. Our power button
and being able to insert the ink cartridges right here too.
And then on the bottom our battery slot.
Look how nice and high quality that is. So so cool.
And let's just go ahead and protect our screen right there. Very cool.
Nice.
And inserting our ink cartridge is fairly simple,
you're just going to slide it down.
Once you slide it all into place,
you'll feel it click and then you can just close the cover.
Right here on the front you'll see all this,
so this is actually touch screen.
Tell me that's not awesome,
but let's go ahead and get everything set up and try it out.
Today we're going to be taking a look
at the Printician Expert Kit which is a fourth
generation modular handheld inkjet printer.
If you need to print dates, batch numbers,
barcodes, QR codes, logos,
or product information directly onto your products or packaging,
the Printician Expert Kit
is a handheld printing solution worth checking out.
Do keep in mind three different kits are available,
with the Starter Kit, Creator Kit, and Expert
Kit, as well as two different models, the H100 and H200.
The Expert Kit is designed to give businesses a portable
and flexible way to mark products
without relying on a large, permanently installed printer.
At the center of the system is the Printician handheld printer,
featuring a 5-inch HD touchscreen
and Android-based interface.
The controls are designed to be easy to navigate,
so you can create and edit print jobs directly
from the printer.
You can print text, dates, times, counters, logos.
You can also import files to the USB or USB-C,
including formats such as Excel, CSV, TXT,
and image files.
Inside the settings, you'll find a couple of really cool options,
including Doodle Mode,
where you'll be able to just draw directly on paper using the device.
There's also a Drawing Mode,
where you can draw images and print them out.
And with the QR scanning mode,
you'll be able to scan QR codes and then print them directly
in the paper.
And if you go into the settings,
you'll see when I scan the QR code, it also updates it
so that the link is.
Attributed to the QR code.
One of the biggest advantages of the Expert Kit is its modular design.
The kit includes multiple interchangeable modules,
including a QR and barcode scanner
module and a narrow edge positioning kit.
This gives you more flexibility
when you're working with different products, shapes, and
surfaces.
You can use the system for applications involving cardboard,
plastic, metal, wood, pipes, labels,
fabric, and more, depending on the ink and application.
Because this is a handheld printer, portability is a major advantage.
The printer weighs just over 1 pound with the battery
and features a rechargeable battery
rated for up to approximately 8 hours of use.
Printician also lists printing speeds of up
to 60 meters per minute at 600 dpi, depending
on the configuration or printing condition.
The Expert Kit comes with a printer, battery,
ink cartridge, positioning accessories, USB
drive, charging cable, and included modular attachments.
So whether you're marking inventory, packaging products,
and adding expiration dates, printing
barcodes or identifying products during manufacturing.
So I gotta say,
wow guys,
great job!
This is our first time working with Printtissian
and I gotta say, this thing is awesome.
The fact that you can print
on so many different materials just makes this thing so incredible.
And whether you're using it handheld
or you're actually attaching it for almost like an assembly
line, there's so many ways to use this.
So we want to give a huge shout out to
Printtissian for sponsoring this video.
