Time Square Evacuated Over Suspecious Package! (Video)!

James Kaufman, World News Report Today. In breaking news, Times Square was evacuated as bomb squad investigated suspicious package that must be nearly impossible at 10 a.m. Police in New York City evacuated large parts of Times Square and a subway station in Times Square following the discovery of a suspicious package which prompted an investigation by the bomb squad. A suspicious package was placed at around 10.20 a.m. in front of this New York Police Department. This according to CNBC's Christina Partinovalis. Per the New York Post, the cylinder-style device was discovered outside a New York Police Department substation in Times Square around 10.30 a.m., law enforcement sources have stated. The 42nd Street Times Square station, which serves the NQRW 123AC and E lines, was cleared out as a precaution, sources have said. 7th Avenue between West 43rd and 42nd Street were also blocked off to pedestrians and vehicular traffic, as you can see here. Now, this is the view from Christina Partinovalis' desk at CNBC. You can see this is the corner of 43rd and 7th. It's completely, well, empty of any pedestrians or vehicles. She says it looks to be okay now. We'll go ahead and play this. All right, there is no audio with this, so I'm going to narrate it for you. We have a member of the bomb squad here working on a suspicious package. They say it's some sort of cylinder, which would remind me of a pipe bomb. Again, this is at the corner of 43rd and 7th Street. This is from Christina Partinovalis' desk. And they've got quite a camera that's zoomed in on top of the bomb squad officer here. Somehow they've cleared the streets in New York City. All over this small, what looks like a very small, pipe bomb. And the bomb squad does seem to get the situation under control. So this is nothing but a good thing thus far. That is some camera equipment I never thought we would see while the street's empty in the middle of New York City. Unless they were making a film or something. God bless you and yours, folks. A pipe bomb or something that appears to be a pipe bomb in front of the New York Police Department substation at Times Square.
