Hey everyone, it's Deja from crocheteverafter.com.
Today I'm doing a review on this delicious yarn tank.
I got this in one of my yarn subscription boxes,
and it's a brand that I have never worked with before,
so I'm very interested to see how well it looks up in crochet.
When I look at the tag, it's a very cute tag.
It's called Sweets Sport. This is a sport weight.
It's kind of like a thicker sport weight.
Usually, maybe once I start working with it
and it pulls a little bit more, it'll look
more sport weight and less worsted,
but it kind of almost has like a medium weight to
it.
But, this has, I think, three, where's my yardage at?
I don't know how slow this is going to go.
There we go.
It's on the Nutritional Values.
It's 310 yards for one hank, so it's a really good-sized hank,
and I'm going to work on a project in it.
After I wind it up. So I'm interested to see how
this is going to crochet up because though it has, you know,
kind of subtle color changes, it has this big splotch
of blue running through it, which is probably going to give me
a couple stitches of my stitch pattern in this dark blue.
So we'll have to see how that works out into the pattern,
if it looks good or not. So that will be really interesting to see.
I'm very excited to try this out.
This is the green tea color, so if you're...
If you like how this looks at the end,
then you can go ahead and pick it up, but I'm going
to go ahead and go wind it up and see how it looks.
So I've got the delicious yarns all wound up
and it looks definitely more like a sport
weight now.
It's kind of cool how it wound up
because the blue kind of creates this diagonal striping.
Maybe I can get lucky
and recreate that in a project that I'm thinking about.
But I'm going to go ahead and get started
and I'll show you how this looks in crochet
in just a minute.
Okay, I've finished my project and made delicious sweet sports.
I really like how the blue turned out.
It's got kind of a stitch almost dispersed throughout the green,
but in a random, but not randomly,
like it kind of makes a pattern if you look at it long enough.
It would depend probably on your stitch and stitch pattern.
Keeping a more dense stitch pattern,
you'd get a more regular reoccurrence of the color.
But it's really pretty. I like it.
And the yarn is really easy to work with.
It's frogged really well. It shows the stitch definition really well.
You can really see the stitches coming through.
So overall, it's a great yarn.
I'm actually giving away a hank right now
on the website till the end of the month.
So if you head over to the blog, you'll see the link below, you can
