Monday night football brought the excitement to Lumen Field
as the Seahawks took on the Bears in Seattle.
Sadly for the Seahawks, they fell to the Bears 34-17.
Fox 13's Jennifer Dowling talked
to fans tonight about how they were feeling about having
the Monday night football national spotlight on the Emerald City.
Fans were in a positive mood as they were heading into the stadium
this afternoon and for those who came with friends and family,
they tell me it was a chance to celebrate one another
to the delight of the crowd at Lumen Field.
Helicopters and fireworks filled the sky before kickoff.
I love the Seahawks and I am Mr Seahawks.

I am so excited. I've been waiting for this for the whole week.
It's pretty unique to be on Monday Night Football
and two good teams going against each other.

College buddies Ken, a Bear fan, and Jeff, a Seahawks fan,

They also might just have passed on their friendly rivalry.
How does it feel to have friends here to go to the game with?
It feels good, mainly
because I finally get to see my friends lose.
What if they win? Well, I'm still going to be friends. Yeah, maybe.
Though the Seahawks didn't come out on top Monday,
fans say there is a lot of the regular season left to play.
Even though they lost, it's fine. All right. It's a long season.
And for Grace and Nick, who got engaged during the game,
they felt like it was a win no matter what.
We thought the Seahawks would win, but they didn't. But we won.
We're bigger- I love-
Love wins, no matter what, love wins.
I promised her last year if the Seahawks
got a ring, she'll get a ring too.
