Packers’ Jason Vrable

When Jayne went down, obviously it's a big loss,
and he's a great player for us, and we all know that.
But it was just at the timing where then Savion started to,
like, kind of come back, and he was ready to practice for us.
You know, when you go back to his college tape,
he's always been a guy who has a huge catch radius.
He's a big, big guy, you know, who has good speed.
But I would say the best thing that he's shown
this year thus far has been his hands.
His catch radius has been great.
He's been catching the ball strong, aggressive hands.
And when he gets his one-on-one offs, he's won those.
You know, I know this last week, the pass game didn't really go to him,
not on purpose.
It's just we had a couple of plays called for,
and the ball just didn't go there,
whether our number one receiver ran the route, the one.
But I think he's done a tremendous job.
You know, every once in a while we give Tumor the run game,
he had an explosive run last week.
But he's a big guy who can block,
and I think he's matured a lot in our offense.
What I mean by that is he finally understands the playbook kind of
the way that we need them to know it.
He's built a lot of confidence.
You can see when he's running around out there like when I knew against
Detroit a couple weeks ago, we have to get this conversion.
As soon as I saw the man coverage
and I did the primary read like, as a coach,
you gotta have that belief that he's gonna make that play and
run the route the right way for the quarterback.
And he ran a perfect, threw a route at ten yards, break across the face,
caught the ball with strong hands, popped up, had a little celebration,
then back to the huddle to do it over again.
I think he's built trust, obviously with our staff,
but I think with ten and him.
And they kind of have had
We've had a little bit of chemistry going,
and if you look at the targets,
Saban's come down with the majority of his targets this year,
and that's kind of what we want out of that room.
