Sydney deploys heavily armed police unit after Bondi attack

We have some of the most highly trained officers in the New South Wales Police Force. They are trained in rifles, they are trained in high-speed driving and they are trained in medical, that rapid response medical requirement when you are the first responder. We have a new command that at its capacity will have 250 extremely well-trained officers. It will have civilian staff to back it up. It will have its own 24-7 police operational command. I've seen that. It's state of the art. It has some of the best technology that law enforcement use around the globe.
