Muhammad Ali’s daughter and grandson endorse El-Sayed

I knew all these guys would show up if there was a fight. I just want to go down without one of us showing up. We've got two of us. This is the legacy. This is why my father fought. They shattered. That glass ceiling to pave the beautiful, shiny way for you, my dear brother. Abdul Sayyed is a part of Muhammad Ali's legacy. A man who understands what it means like people to talk down on you for the color of your skin or for the faith you believe in, for the things you dare to stand up to, whether it be unjust wars still occurring to this day. Yes, sir. There's troubling times ahead of us. I don't need to tell you that everybody in this room knows it. We feel the rising tide of hatred. We feel the cost of living increased by the day, but I can assure you, Michigan, that we've got another fighter in our corner. We've got another champ in the making, and I'm proud to be here to speak on his behalf and in his support and the support of everybody in this room, because this is another pivotal time. And as my mother said, my grandfather always used to say, service to others is the rent we pay for our time here on earth. So I say it's about time we pay our rent.
