Just to know, I've coached about it,
but T.O. Barrett, Sebastian Williams-Adams,
those guys coming in with that sort of experience,
how do you feel that benefits the roster,
and how do you feel as though you've seen
those guys kind of gel within your business?
I think it's been great, especially them having
the experience to be in the SEC.
That's going to help us out a lot.
Both very hard players, they understand the game,
and they understand what it takes to win the SEC.
I think they've gelled great with the team,
and great to have them part of the squad.
And then for you, just where do you feel as though you've grown
the most over this offseason as you go towards the new year?
Yeah, I like just, you know, confidence, you know, in my game,
especially offensively, you know, being able to build, you know,
be more of a, you know, just part of the team, you know,
and that way continue just to be focused defensively on, you know,
my assignments and, you know, where I can always impact winning myself.
I just say my confidence, though, the biggest thing,
getting a lot of shots up and, you know, just sticking to it.
And then just having Tyler back after
he'd gone through the NBA draft process,
I guess just how big is it for you guys to have a guy like him back?
And how do you feel like you've seen him
grow since going through that process?
It's been amazing, obviously bringing back
a guy like Tyler, it's amazing.
We know what he can do on the court and what he can bring to the team.
He's been a great leader for us,
obviously just being his third year in the SEC.
He really understands what it takes to win.
How to perform at the highest level.
So I thought he's been great for us as a team
and been a great leader as well.
Just how much of a leap do you think you can make this season?
Big leap, for me it's just confidence, the biggest thing.
I'm going into it, the coaches believe in me.
I'm just very confident in my abilities.
And I'm just always ready to impact women, so I'm excited for the year.
Do you think that leap could maybe manifest
to something that's more than
just scoring?
For sure, yeah, I mean, it definitely can.
And like I said, I'm just going to take it a game at a time, you know,
working a lot and working a lot in the offseason, you know,
just getting prepared for the moment.
So I feel like preparation is going to be the biggest thing for me
and going out and showing what I can do.
And you mentioned confidence,
but is there something that's more
of a bigger difference to you this year
compared to last year?
But definitely like my role offensively,
that'll grow and be a little bigger
this year than what it was last year.
But I feel like for me, not forcing things,
letting the game kind of come to me and
just taking the right shots,
finding my teammates to play in the right way.
And just how far do you feel like you've come as a starter?
I feel like a long way, you know,
I mean it's definitely been a long journey just
my basketball journey as a whole
but especially in college and you know I
have a great coaching staff around me that's
you know helped me kind of build up and I'm very excited.
And just last thing, is there a coach
or GA that you've been working out with?
Oh Jack Miller, Jack Miller
Trey as well, some of my freshman year, but Jack, that's my guy.
Been working with him since last year, since the summer.
So yeah, those are my dogs, him and Trey, for sure.
Okay, Sway obviously is a new guy also,
played at Auburn last year.
What have you seen from him so far?
What has he played?
Slade, he a dog, that's my guy.
He's such a great player, kind of what he, great for the team.
He does everything that's needed to win, plays very hard.
Like I said before, I understand what it takes to win the SEC,
kind of what's needed.
But get stepping into a leadership role for our team,
having a younger team, kind of pulling the guys together.
But he's been great, he's just been getting better also.
