Vanderbilt football should treat rest of 2026 season like it has nothing to lose

The season hasn't quite gone the way Vanderbilt hoped. I mean, five straight losses, I'm stating the obvious here. But if I'm Clark Lee, I'm looking at things two different ways that are a little bit different probably than everyone else. Number one, playing with house money at this point. Look, it's time to write off the 2026 season for the most part. There's not going to be a ball game. You are mostly looking towards the future. you've got a great young quarterback and and it's just okay let's move on and and and that's it it's this is kind of dealing with reality but number two i'm putting all my eggs in one basket in one game at this point i mean look it's there's we've got november to go three of the opponents are against ranked opponents we know how tough this is going to be but i'm going all in on tennessee at this point and look it's it's it would be great to pull off wins against mississippi state possibly Alabama so forth, but that's a rivalry game, that's the end of the season I'm going all in on that one and that's where I'm trying to direct all my attention and do everything I can to end this season on a win game momentum going into the offseason in just a moment, I'm Christopher Walsh, thanks for being here
