Hey everyone it's Deja with Knit and Crochet Ever After
and today I wanted to show you a new
pattern that I have in my shop
and that's the lullaby baby blanket.
So, obviously this is a baby blanket,
it is in blue but that's just the color that they
had at the store.
You can definitely make it in other colors,
pink, green, purple, whatever color you like
or the parents to be would like.
This is made with Bernat Baby Sport and it's a really great yarn,
I really enjoy working
with this yarn, it doesn't split.
Doesn't have problems frogging.
It's very easy care so that you can actually use it. It's not
just a decoration. This can be washed and dried
and because of the edging on it, it doesn't roll
so you don't have to block it.
It's ready to go right out of the dryer to be with the baby again.
So, just 750 yards of that Bernat will get you done
which is less than a whole skein
of one of those big honking ones you know that they sell.
This is with a 3.5 millimeter needle
and I did it on circulars just to hold all my stitches
at once.
This is 36 by 36 so it's a good size blanket
but it doesn't take that long to work up
and it's a really easy repeat.
that you don't have to pay too much attention
to just kind of keep track of
which row you're on because you do have kind of little
little rows where you'll have to do something
a little special to make that
kind of lacy look but you can see it's very
nice and drapey and soft
and it's great for any season because of that kind of
lacy look to it but it's still got some good
heft to it, I don't know what you'd call it,
to keep the baby warm, so it's good for any time of year,
and it's just a really nice gift, you know,
when you're not sure what to get the parents, and it's...
They have everything already,
doing like an heirloom keepsake or blanket that's handmade
is really a great idea and it's really cost conscious like
because this yarn is not that
much but it's a great yarn.
So go check it out, I have links in the description to all the shops,
the popular ones that I
sell on so you can get to them easily, Etsy, Ravelry.
Lovecrafts, different spots for you to pick up the pattern at.
