Hey everyone, it's Deja with Knit and Crochet Ever After
and today I have a new pattern reveal,
one of my forever paid patterns. So I have some forever free patterns,
some limited time free patterns, and then paid patterns.
This is one of the paid patterns.
Like and subscribe, hit the notification bell
because I do give away some of my paid patterns
for free for a limited time only.
I talk about that a lot in a bunch of other videos,
so I'll just get straight to this pattern
so you can learn a little bit more about it.
So this is the rose tattoo bag.
It's based off of flash art that you would find in a tattoo shop.
It is intarsia crochet.
If you've never done intarsia, it's not difficult. I have a video
that I will link so you can go learn how to do it.
The only difficult part, because this is just
really all single crochet,
this whole bag pretty much is made with single crochet, the only
The only difficult part is kind of just changing colors.
you know working the color chart that's it
but my tutorial will walk you through
it this comes with a full chart for this guy
and you can make it reversible so on this bag i did a black
background my polyfill
is popping out here
So I did a black background
but you could do a reversible bag by making two of these. So you can
do that as an option.
There is plenty of yarn left over from what I use. This was made with
Red Heart Super Saver. Super affordable, super perfect for bags.
It gives it good structure
Because it is that kind of...
Not soft.
Acrylic. You know what I'm talking about.
It was made with a four millimeter crochet hook
and then the joining and the handles were made
with a six millimeter so you need two hooks
to finish it but one skein each of each color.
Plenty of leftover except for the black. The
black you almost use all the way up
so unless you go reversible then you'll have a lot of black
leftover but one skein each of Red Heart and you're good to go.
There includes photo tutorials on the joining
and the handles so don't feel intimidated that
they're kind of a little different.
You can kind of see the decorative edge on this and
the handles are crocheted right into the project
so there's no sewing. My polyfill is.
Wanting to come out. So you can see it's got a very good size.
It's 13 inches by 8 inches tall,
4 inches wide, so it's got plenty of room for all your stuff.
Nice and sturdy, like I said.
The link to the pattern is in the description,
so you can go check out some more information on it.
And that's about it. I really enjoyed making this.
I might be doing maybe a whole series on these, so if you guys like
these, I might do a few more, so we'll see how that goes.
But I'm Deja with Knit and Crochet Ever
After, and thank you for watching.
