Terrence Howard Says He Might Run for President to Bring Real Change | TMZ

I want to ask you, I watched that video on reparations. I want to put it out there. I do agree. And I know, I know I'm not being a journalist on that point, but I do agree wondering, would you be open to meeting with the president to talk about it? I would love to. I would love to. I think he's, I think he's uninformed regarding the impact that. Slavery had upon the people of color and what the disparity has done to us for the last 400 years, systemic abuse that's taken place with us. So I would love to sit down and have a conversation because it cost them nothing. It cost them nothing except, you know, no taxes to African-Americans or the descendants of slaves for the next 400 years, no federal taxes. Got to put it out there. Nicki Minaj is close to him. Could that be a topic that she brings up to him? I don't know. It depends on if that's on her heart. But I know what it would mean for the African-American community to become an opportunity zone. I know what that would mean for investments into the community and for what it will do for the rest of the world. It would be an example. This is how you heal 400 years of bad karma. People are wondering what Nicki wants with the president. People were a little shocked that he asked her to stand up, kind of objectified her, according to critics. What did you think of that moment? I didn't really see what took place with them and whatever their relationship is. I love the fact that she's stepping into politics and pushing and trying to, you know, make a voice heard. You know, I just want, let's talk about things that are relevant to our community. What we need as a people. Right. So if it's relevant, it might be worth it. It's worth it. If you do, unless you're lining your own pockets. Right. And we won't know for a little bit. Yeah. You know. And I don't think that's what she's doing. I think she's trying to have a greater influence over the world. And I'm going to live with that and trust that. Right. Are you looking forward to voting? Voting? Yes. I'm one of the... I'm looking forward to becoming president. I know that's right. Is that real? That's what I'm looking for. Is that real? If they're not going to make a difference. Somebody's got to do something. Somebody's got to do something that's got some heart. That's what it's about.
