Hello, America

You know, Americans have always been a bit unreasonable about their home. This 3,000 miles of land we get to call ours, the land of the free, the home of the brave. For all 340 million of us, the next 250 years will be even greater than the last. Some days change the course of everything that follows, and today is one of them. This is more than an event. I really believe this is a history moment in the making. That means making government simpler, faster, and more effective. Challenging the way things have always been done. Welcome to America.gov, the new online home for the United States of America. For the first time, there's one place to get everything done across the entire government. That has not been true for decades in the United States of America. The President of the United States said, change it. So today, the goal is simple. It's to make life better and easier for normal Americans. This is Lisa Desmet. She can enroll, find doctors, get medicines. It's one experience. That's the elegance of America.gov. That's why Health and Human Services is proud to be a founding agency partner with America.gov. Starting next year, Americans will be able to apply for their first passport entirely online. This kind of innovation in government is just a preview of what is possible with superintelligence, the most revolutionary product launches of all time. For the first time, a government built around you, that respects your time, that works for you. So today, just as our founders did two and a half centuries ago, we carry our flag across the next horizon and we proudly declare that we are Americans and the future belongs to us.
