Seeing my son be so excited about it and be like,
my mommy jumped out of a plane and my
mommy is a badass superhero.
Like those are all worth doing it.
Brigitte, Danny and I are so excited to see you yet again.
Kind of bummed that right now it's
because your time on Special Forces has come to a
close.
How are you feeling about the way your journey ended?
I knew my ego would get the best of me and my attitude at some point.
I definitely regretted leaving the next day.
I was so mad at myself for doing it.
But I think in the moment and just the buildup of everything,
it was really hard for me to
see the boys like that and to know
that they had just been out there lost for hours.
And like, what if that had been me?
And like, I understand that.
We know what we're signing up for when we do this show
and we know that things like that can
happen. But I also go to the place of seeing even
in the safest environment with trained stunt people
and movie sets and all the things that real stuff does happen.
And people do get injured. People can
die. There's like crazy stuff.
And that's all I kind of thought about. And I was like, as a mother,
is this what I should be doing right now?
Like I have a four year old. Is this smart or am I
Am I living in my ego to prove something that I don't need to prove?
I think that it really was just seeing Matt
in shambles that I just couldn't process.
We had all become so close
and he had carried everyone truly the entire time.
And it was a lot for me.
And I was like, why is no one upset about this?
Like no one, it was like, they were like, oh, we're just, it's fine.
They just lost them in the jungle.
And I was like.
No, I don't know. So, yeah, I should have just took my ass to sleep.
I would have been fine the next day and I would have kept going.
But I definitely was I was upset about it.
I feel I mean, I'm sure it makes sense.
You might be upset about how you left, but still, it was so impressive,
A, that you went and B, you lasted as long as you did.
And C, too, that you opened up with an audience
and I feel more deeply with yourself.
Some of the things that you've been going through or that you've
gone through in your life that no one really knew about before,
like your relationship with your mother and everything like that.
So do you feel like even though your time was shorter than
you maybe expected, that it was really rewarding for you?
I think this was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had.
I think it was the most growth.
I think it's probably the only show
that's ever given any sort of benefit to my life,
like, you know, in a positive mental state.
So as much as it was trying and, you know,
difficult, I think that just having that experience
and being able to be truly vulnerable
and bond with these people and push myself to
places I would never typically push myself for any reason.
Was rewarding and it was a lot of growth.
And I think, you know, seeing my son be so excited about it
and be like, my mommy jumped
out of a plane and my mommy is a badass superhero.
Like those are all worth doing it.
And at the end of the day,
I left to make sure I did protect myself for my son.
So I'm, I'm disappointed,
but I know that I would have finished and I passed every single
challenge that I did.
I'm like everybody else.
So I am happy with that outcome.
Yeah. I mean, your reasoning for leaving,
like your heart was in the right place. So I wouldn't
beat yourself up too much about that.
Now I am kind of curious before the season premiere,
you told us that when you decided to do this,
Nick thought you were a little crazy
after watching you on the show.
Does he have different thoughts about your experience?
Is he impressed by how well you did?
He definitely is.
Like, I think he had the same response as me as he was like,
you know, you had one more
day.
Like, why did you do that?
Like, the initial thing was like, you were right there.
But he was very proud of me in the sense
that I went in the first place and that I actually
did do well and that I did not allow.
anything else to kind of like divert me or upset me
or take me to any place and that I got to like
really enjoy myself because I think a lot of the reality world
and a lot of things that I've done
in the past are very toxic
and this was not like that so it was actually a really nice experience.
I'm not sure if you've reached out to her yet
but you have to have a support group with Brianna
Chicken Fry who was on last season another Brie
who she quit like with 10 minutes left so she
She could have won.
And then, no, literally, I want to say maybe 10 minutes.
Oh my God, I would have lost my mind.
I know.
I actually, I think it was eight minutes.
It was like, she literally was this close.
Isn't that crazy?
Oh, they should have just let her win at that point.
That's so f***ed up.
I think the winners were being crowned as she was walking away.
Like, it was, like, that close.
It was crazy.
I might have cried again for my second time
that season if that would have happened.
I couldn't handle that.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
And I love, too, that Nick was impressed with how you did it.
We know you, because you have let us know
that you are filming a new adventure with him
and some of the other ladies in his life.
Do you think, have they seen the show?
And now do they know, oh, we really can't mess with Brie?
I hope so.
Who knows?
But I hope so.
I mean, between, like, if you guys would go, like, to mill together.
Maybe we should bring milling to my show.
I think that would solve a lot of problems.
Yes!
Yes!
Let's duke it out, bitch.
That would be amazing.
Is anyone in particular that you really feel
the need to be doing that with right now?
There's a few, there's a few, you know,
it's crazy how many reality TV hats you wear between
special forces, this new show with Nick,
obviously a new season of Selling Sunset will soon be upon
us. How are you feeling mentally,
emotionally knowing that this next season of Selling Sunset
will be with the world very, very soon.
Like, are you good with this season?
You know, I question my mental stability often.
Thank you.
So I don't know if I have a true answer for that.
But I do think.
That show, at least, I'm surviving and I'm okay.
And I do feel like that one was, there's always drama.
I'm always going to be fighting for my life to some extent
because people want to try me for whatever reason.
But I do think that having Heather back is really fun for me
and I really get to enjoy myself and she's a really good safe space.
So you get to see some of the banter and the fun again.
And I've heard from Christine and Heather that they do feel
this was closer to their beginning seasons.
Which is nice for me to hear.
Because I've just been in hell since day one.
So I still want to hear that.
Um...
But these girls too.
They brought their drama.
They did what they needed to do for the most part.
And I think.
It'll be very different.
But I think it'll be very interesting.
And I do think the most
amazing thing that Selling Sunset does do that is going
to help carry this new cast is the fact
that we've always had new people and they're
so used to getting to know new characters every season
and introducing them into storylines and things like that.
So I do think that that's going to
benefit us a lot and it's not going to create this,
you know, hole or gap or whatever people
are referring to. I don't think it's there.
I could be wrong, but we'll see what the people say.
But I think from filming it.
We did it.
We're excited to see it.
And I am curious, speaking of Selling Sunset,
has the group chat been kind of shook at the Chrishell news
about her and G-Flip?
What group chat?
Yeah.
Is there a group chat?
Oh, okay, okay.
We're not surprised.
I don't think anyone's surprised.
Do you know what?
That's kind of shocking.
It was shocking to me, honestly.
Like, I don't know if I was duped.
Because they had four weddings.
Like, I thought they were in it to win it.
Like, I honestly really did.
But it seems like, yeah, you're not shocked, Bri.
Oh, I think, you know, I think a lot of people had
a lot of time to talk about my relationship.
And I think that should have been the first thing
that people paid more attention to is
why are you so concerned about
this girl's relationship and not your own?
So that's kind of where I'll leave that.
But I do find it interesting that, you know,
people love to just throw rocks at glass houses
and now they can put in their shattered home.
Okay, all right.
She's a wordsmith.
She is a wordsmith.
I am curious,
because you were talking about Heather.
How do you think Heather would be on Special Forces?
Oh my God.
I think she'd be comedy, pure comedy.
I think she'd probably cry majority of the time.
But I do think if she did it with Tariq,
I think they would be a good couple, you know?
Yes, I feel like he would love to do it.
Oh yeah.
Oh, he totally would. Tariq and I are very similar
too so I think that he would thrive in this environment.
But it is I do think if I had another person, again,
I was lucky to bond to the cast the way I did on mine.
But if I had my human with me, like,
that is a whole different playing field.
I think that that is a huge benefit for anyone
that does it if they bring on a partner.
What would it have been like?
Do you think if Nick had done it,
do you think he could have handled that?
That's a liability.
That's not a benefit.
Okay.
Sorry,
Nick,
but you could never,
I could never see.
He wasn't built for this.
Absolutely not.
And he said out loud,
he's like,
no,
never not interested at all.
And I'm kind of curious.
I don't know how it works,
but when you left,
were you able to tell any of the other
special forces members who left before
you're like,
Hey guys,
I'm out now.
Or would you keep it all under wraps?
Oh, as in people that had done the show previously or like on your cast?
Like, did you I guess you wouldn't let George Santos know.
Hey, babe, I'm free.
Let's get lunch.
No, no, definitely not.
I think I talked to Ruby.
OK, I think that's the only person I talked to after.
But honestly, I it was actually a lot to process after you leave.
It was very interesting for me.
I really did not think.
It would affect me or weigh on me in any way.
And when I got out, there was just so many emotions
and so many thoughts and like, why
did I do this?
And damn, I wish I would have went back.
And now I'm disappointed.
But also, I can't wait to go home.
And it was actually very emotional.
So I really.
Didn't talk to anyone I called my son and I called Nick and said I
was on my way home and he was like, are you on your way home?
So, you know, I, it was okay.
And then when I got home, we celebrated my birthday.
So I think it was a fun transition once I returned.
Did it just align with your birthday?
Or did you celebrate your birthday in the jungle?
I was in the jungle for my birthday.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
So yeah.
And I had plans on,
I think I would have gotten out the day after my birthday.
I think it would have been.
And you're on the other side of the world,
so you're already like a day ahead.
So you're just like all over the place
by the time you get out.
I'm like, I don't know when my birthday was,
but can we go to dinner?
You're like, can I take a shower and go to dinner, please?
Yes, that's all I wanted.
I'm like, no boo, please, and a hot shower.
I'm like, I will have some sort of plague
when I arrive on my face, but it'll be fine.
Oh.
Oh, my God.
Well, we are excited you were able to sell.
Even though we were sad that you left,
we were excited that you were able to have some Nobu,
a shower, and now your Pilates studio all cooking,
which we are so excited about.
And, Brie, congrats on making it as far as you did.
You really did a great job.
Honestly, yes.
Thank you.
Thanks, guys.
Maybe they'll do a reboot of, like, everyone that VW'd.
I think that's what they need to do.
Anyone that was a dumbass that left,
we need to come back and we need to finish.
Not dumbasses united.
I'm screaming.
Literally, that's what they should call us.
Dumbasses back in the jungle.
I'm sure Brie would love that.
So yeah, I would love that, honestly.
Oh, Brie, you are so much fun.
I guess like with the way we're going,
we'll see you next week somehow.
But until then, yes.
Yeah, probably.
Yes.
Something else I'm doing.
But thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us.
Bye, Brie.
I appreciate you.
Bye, guys.
