Good morning guys. Welcome to today's video.
I'm starting out strong this morning. I have two
entire blankets ready to go.
I'm just going to spray them with waterproofing even though
I've washed them before and they've still been waterproof.
But this is Penny's. It's in excellent
condition. There's a little rip.
There's a little bit of a rip on this side but I sewed it. Easy
peasy. And then this is I don't know whose blanket this is.
Maybe Storm's. Maybe Lady's. I don't know.
But, another blanket.
I literally love getting all this stuff done.
Boys are screaming at me down there.
I think they think I'm gonna bring them something to eat.
They're down here in this corner.
I'm gonna get another blanket.
I'm just gonna keep going.
Get another blanket, get it all cleaned.
Repair it if I have to.
You guys, I wanted to tell you guys something
about a supplement I've been taking.
Obviously I'm not a doctor.
Sam has gone to get hay.
Not even close to being a doctor.
But, oh this is Gracie.
And it has a big rip.
So I'm going to wash that one.
What else?
Oh, hello, lady.
Hello Gracie. I think this is Storm's.
So I'm going to bring Storm's and Gracie's. All right Storm and
Gracie they're getting washed today. Hi Penny.
Sorry I forgot to say she walked in and I walked
away. See you there. So last year I told you about
a supplement that I was taking. It's called
L-theanine or something. L-theanine I think it was called.
I started I took that last summer and
loved it but it affected my sleep.
It affected my sleep not horribly but just enough to like be annoying
But I still love it, and it's on my shelf.
I'm saving it until a time comes when I actually need it.
I love it.
It's an amino acid.
It's the amino acid that you get in green tea,
and it was really, I love that supplement.
That's the only supplement I've ever tried that I'm saving
so I get older, and if I need it, I'll take it.
But like I said, it did affect my sleep.
It made me lose a little bit of weight.
um loved it and so what it did for me was it stopped the food noise
and that's the thing like i try not to eat sugar i try not to
uh drink caffeine i try not to like i try and be as healthy as i can
but i still have that food noise
and i don't really care about being thin
i care about being healthy
and i've always been like that a couple weeks ago
Maybe a month ago?
Weeks ago.
I found this new supplement called inositol.
It's called inositol. I don't know why. Anyway,
it's a supplement for fertility, which I obviously have no fertility,
but it's also a supplement.
It's basically, it's as good as metformin, which people take
that have diabetes.
So as you get older, your body isn't able to process sugar and carbs.
as well as it used to so this inositol is for fertility
and it's for metabolic syndrome so
i decided i would try it love it
so you're supposed to take two pills a day i take one
every other day and it works amazing all it does
for me is cancel the food noise so this morning
i started to feel like oh i could eat that i could eat
that i'm hungry i want to eat everything and
So then I took the inositol within like 20 minutes.
I don't even remember.
I didn't even remember that I was hungry or that I wanted to eat.
I just feel normal.
I just feel normal.
It doesn't affect my sleep the way
the other supplement did, which I love.
So the other supplement made me have bad dreams all the time.
I hated that because it was like nightmares.
This one, if I eat at night.
Then it takes me longer to fall asleep.
That's all that it does.
But inositol is just like alcohol, sugar alcohol, I think it is.
It's in your body.
It helps to push sugar into your cells.
And diabetes, and I do not have diabetes, and I'm not pre-diabetic.
But I do notice that I struggle.
with energy. It's all a part of growing older.
And this thing helps me so much. And I'm not I
don't take it to lose weight.
I don't even know if it has made me lose weight. I don't even think
so. I hardly take it take it every other day.
I just don't like eating all the time or wanting
to eat all the time. And I don't like having energy issues like
not having the energy. So
that's why I take it I take it whenever I feel like I'm starting
to overeat again,
Like whenever I feel like I want to eat all the time.
it cuts the food noise so for me it's been working
every other day I take it with food in the
morning as soon as I realize that I'm hungry
and it seems to be every other day it lasts in my body
every other day so anyway I wanted to tell you guys about it because
I know a lot of you guys are like me getting older and
It's, there's no side effects and I love it.
I'm so sensitive. I feel every side effect. I feel
nothing with this. I love it.
So the other one had some contraindications, like things that you
shouldn't have. You shouldn't take it if you have,
and this one only has one contraindicator
and it is that you should not take it if you're taking antidepressants,
which I'm not taking antidepressants.
So, um, if you're taking antidepressants.
Don't take it, but also do your research and look it up
and see what it, what it, if it's something that you could use.
But man, I love it.
I like to always share everything that I take
or that I try that is amazing or that works so good for me.
Well, today's the day.
Today is boy day.
It's the day that all the little boys come in,
get their feet done and get a little treat.
Come on.
Come on.
You want to come in first?
Winston, it's so dark.
He's like, yeah, I'll have it.
The geese for sure want one.
You threw it?
Oh, she got it.
That's funny.
Let's clean up our space.
What? Open my pig stall?
Yeah, she wants to come in first.
Sometimes you gotta put them to bed
when they want to go to bed.
Up on the stand. Look, get up there.
We hate doing the boys.
The boys are annoying.
Why do you look like you got a haircut?
Yeah, he kind of does
look like he has a haircut.
Come here.
Look, that's
not gonna, here, look.
I got food here, come here.
I really wish you could throw it.
Yeah, that was a dumb choice.
He doesn't have a collar, so it makes it extra hard.
I mean, he has a long name.
No, no, no, no, no.
Come on.
Oh, no.
Oh my gosh. Settle down.
Oh my gosh.
You won't know until he gets out.
He is not happy.
Sophie!
Can you fix something that's the worst in his life?
Dad?
Yes.
Yes.
Alright, I think we're good.
I feel like that's gonna be too loose.
Yeah, he's probably getting out again.
But the problem is you put your hand on here to like push them in,
and then your finger...
It's gross.
Anyway...
Do not get out where I'm selling you and eating you.
I swear.
It's so gross.
All right, he is so all this is look at this. It's all pee.
He peed? No. Yes. Is he? He did. Yeah, he peed. On your things.
Great. So let's hurry this up. All right, let's hurry this up.
All right, we're done. And it was wild. But I like to make sure.
I wouldn't be done. Like there's a lot of this is all hair.
But yeah, it's gross. Like, he's gross.
This is all pee. Like, you can't even tell if his fur is soft.
My gloves are sticky now.
Because it's just all pee.
Why do you want these gloves?
So we have gloves.
Just one.
Alright, let's get number two. But look, he looks nice.
He's a little bit thinner than he used to be.
He looks perfect. Perfect weight.
But he's a little thinner than he used to be because it's rut season.
And they get, like, a scoop of grain.
They get a lot of food. Can you pull those off?
Each finger.
Good lord. There you go. I'm going straight
to the shower as soon as I go in. You can't like sit
anywhere. You can't. All right come on dude. Let's see
who will be next. Let's see if he's smarter.
I like the way he looks
though. I like him a little deeper in the belly.
Come on go out. Tell them what happened. Dashie's
coming. Well you gotta get that one out still.
Come on out. Just push him. Get out. Push
him. Push him. Yeah push him. He's pushing.
She's pushing.
Oh my gosh! Come on! Okay, let him out that door.
Come on, Dasher. I don't call anyone by their names. I call Oreo.
I call him Dasher. Come on, Dasher. Call him Dasher.
Dasher. Come on! Pick him up.
Okay. I don't want to touch this. It's all covered in pee.
Oh my gosh, I can carry a happy goat.
He's fat now.
He's heavy.
My sticky glove back on.
Oh my gosh.
Just settle down.
Look at how little he is though.
He's tiny.
Yeah, he's good.
He's already having babies.
Yeah, he's already got a lot of babies on the way.
He looks really cute.
Isn't he my favorite?
He's my favorite too.
And you can't even see the pee stain.
Look it, he's got the Donald Trump hair though.
He's the same color as him too.
I know.
So cute.
Boys, so far, their feet have not been bad.
We saved the best
to last, though.
At least I could carry this guy, but
look how cute his face is. He's got a little
dish nose. That's my
favorite kind of face. You did not save
the best for last. Yeah, I'm being
sarcastic. I thought I could jump up on the thing, so
hopefully here. None of these guys have collars.
We need to get more collars. Do we have another
collar? Well, you're supposed to train them well enough.
Well, we did not train them well enough.
Finger time.
This is what you call
a princess. Thanks.
Well I don't want to see my feet.
Release the Dachshund. Come on.
Dachshund does not release. He just stays there.
Come on Dashie. Come on. Out you go. This way.
Goats can get like bad feet. Here. Come on.
Come on Nico. If Nico comes in I'll be shook.
I don't know. Aww. Wow. Our boys.
Our boys. Our boys are really good.
Other than they screamed their heads off
while they're getting their feet done.
Come on, up in the stand.
Oh, this one's all on Sophie.
Come on, I did the last two.
I already am.
Sophie washes her coat like a hundred times a week.
All right, I had to put you guys down and help her grab them.
Totally.
Got them.
Right here.
Got this.
Got this.
Watch.
Nico, up.
Nico.
Nico, you're fat now.
Good
boy.
Grab the leash.
Or just leave me to defend for myself.
Turn.
Bad boy.
Get in there.
Oh my gosh.
OK, I need you to hold this shut.
Come on.
Try this.
My hand.
You got my hand.
You got my hand.
Move your hands out of it.
Hold it shut.
Look, still.
Right here, like this.
We are going to smell right.
You are.
I don't touch them.
Can you breathe?
Oh my gosh.
It's just.
You can't, yeah, you can't even breathe there.
We did it.
Like, every time we get all the boys done, I'm shocked.
He's lost so much weight.
Oh, he's still good, though.
I give them so much food.
That's all their fault.
I know.
But it also could be that because their grass is leaving,
it's fine for them to look like this, though.
He looks fine.
All right, well, that was gross.
Look at him.
He's got his feet, ankles on the ground.
He's got his butt in the air.
His knee's on the ground.
He's got his butt in the air.
I don't know what he's expecting.
But let me tell you, it was gross.
And that wet on me, it's from him.
His legs are wet.
See?
Pretty wild, look.
Where do you want to go?
This way?
Come on.
Find yourself in here.
Oh, my gosh.
You stinker.
I don't know what he thought was going to happen.
Get out there.
Thank you.
Sophie says, you don't want to come back in here.
You don't want to get more traumatized.
I'm like, what?
That was traumatizing for me.
And then she agreed.
She said, it was the most
traumatizing for her.
What grain they get?
Oh my gosh.
The dirt coming out.
The water coming out of my hands is so pee.
It's so gross.
I would switch past you.
Ew.
Ew!
That should look good.
Wow.
That's gross.
That's how much grain I get.
Yeah, they get that much grain.
I know, but the same thing happens.
It happens all winter.
I know.
No, I feel like it's mostly grass, I think.
In the summer.
And in the spring, these guys,
and in the fall, these guys are all chubby.
But I've even noticed with the goats,
everybody's thinning out a little bit.
I know it's because of the grass.
So even though they have as much hay as they, or as much hay as they,
even though they have as much hay, free hay as they need,
the grass definitely makes a difference.
I can really tell with the pigs.
In the pigs, I use, with the pigs, three of the, for three seasons.
I go through a bag of pig feed a month and then once winter hits,
it's already starting,
I go through a bag a week and same with like all the animals.
They eat more in the winter. They
have to eat more in the winter. I'm exhausted now.
You don't even understand how hard it is
to cut those boys feet.
The only thing that can make me feel better is Gemma. Gemma and Ellie
and Hazel. She's just so sweet. I know I don't always know.
Strawberries for Gemma. Did she eat it?
The babies are getting fatter and everybody else is
getting a little thinner from the lack of grass.
But it's hard to tell her apart from her mom now.
She's getting so big. Little Maple over there still seems tiny though.
A lot of people breed
their dolings from this year. They have to be a certain size.
There's a few measurements that
you have to double check.
But this year only one of our babies would be big enough to be bred.
so if we were going to breed any babies
this year we wouldn't have been able to breed any of them
only just this one over here button
because all of them are so small which is what we wanted we wanted
smaller babies yeah these two are later in the season
but those two are tiny still like she's
She's thick and fat like her mom but she's a little goat.
She's barely bigger than these ones
and then that one over there looks almost like a full-grown goat.
She's big. She is a big girl. I
have no problem breeding her this year
and the reason we want to breed her this year is because
we want to see what she produces and then make a choice
and whether to sell her or not so
And if we can sell her with a baby, even better for her.
Hi, sweet girl.
Isn't she the sweetest?
Little Opal
Oh, and little Gemma.
Gem, Gem.
Hi, baby
I swear Gemma is the softest.
Okay, I'm covered in white goats.
All right, that's it.
I'm going up to take a shower.
Everybody is fed and watered.
But we'll see you guys tomorrow
on a much less stinky day
That's the whole thing about farming.
Some days are stinky.
Don't you know that you're just a
