brothers and sisters among themselves
Alhamdulillah. Let's pray together. And then we'll pray.
Thank you for watching.
So we have a phenomenal evening planned for you.
Alhamdulillah. Now what I need from
yourselves, you up here.
to work with me and the amazing volunteers
that you see around you
to organize for 50,000 people
SubhanAllah, you can imagine, it's not easy, but
MashaAllah, the volunteers have been working tirelessly.
from this morning to organize this event for yourselves
So please work with them if they tell you something.
They'll come to the rows, etc.
Please work with them and work with us, inshaAllah.
to make sure that this evening goes off smoothly
Okay, Alhamdulillah.
It is the month of the Qur'an.
We hear the Qur'an, we recite the Qur'an,
And we strive to implement the Qur'an in everything we do.
Similarly with our events, Alhamdulillah,
We would like to begin with the recitation of the Qur'an.
That dhikr through which we seek closeness to Allah, the Almighty.
So, Inshallah, I would like to invite Mawlana Hamzah.
who will recite for us so that we may benefit.
May Allah reward you with goodness.
Praise be to Allah,
Indeed, We have revealed
Blessed
There is
very
few
things
that
come to
an end
when
Ramadan
finishes.
One of which is your search for Laylatul Qadr
That comes to an end really when Eid arrives.
But what never comes to an end is your search for Jannah.
which is the reason why you were searching
to begin with Laylatul Qadr.
That search, the search for Jannah, continues until the day you die.
Real life will begin from the day of Eid onwards.
because that is a work ethic that is required to see it through
until the day you are greeted by the angel of death.
We ask Allah Almighty to grant us success and to grant us steadfastness.
from now until the end of Ramadan
and from Eid until the end of our lives.
In the name of God, praise be to God, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, and upon his family and all his companions.
Masha Allah,
I spoke to a brother I met earlier who was a reverend.
He told me that he was so happy to see so many people.
so serious about their faith during the month of Ramadan.
and I told him, I said, "My brother, do you know that we"
are actually a true reflection of what a Muslim
should be like in the month of Ramadan
and we should be allowing that to extend beyond the month
of Ramadan, so definitely during the month of Ramadan you will notice people
who do not pray outdoors
Our Lord Muhammad
as they should, praying with such dedication
Because it's Ramadan, mashaAllah, don't you agree?
You see people giving more charity during the month of Ramadan, praise be to Allah.
You see people who are usually very irritable and angry,
Calm down during the month of Ramadan, can't you see that? MashaAllah.
You might be one of them, right?
I could be too, may Allah bless all of us.
We see people at times who
Hello, peace be upon you
From the mosque, they hardly come to the mosque.
but they are there every night in the month of
Ramadan, praying long prayers, Subhanallah, you see people reciting
You see the Quran, the music goes
Out, and then the nasheeds come in, you see.
The forbidden relations have been severed, Subhanallah.
The only problem is that some of them cut them off and say,
See you in 30 days, inshaAllah.
There is no power or strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Almighty.
The moon that is going to be sighted for Eid
does not depict a return to sinful behavior,
but rather it is a sign of joy
that Allah has granted you the opportunity
to engage in such devoted worship
that He wants you to be able to say,
This is the moon I brought.
I've just realized my life has actually changed forever.
May Almighty Allah grant this to us.
So this Ramadan, I invite you, my brothers and sisters
to continue with the dedication you have shown during Ramadan.
Even if it may be one notch lower
In the sense that it is no longer Ramadan
But it should never be lower than that to the point where
Your obligations are forgotten or omitted
Or something forbidden creeps back into your life
That we should become mindful of.
Allah says,
Perhaps you will fear (Allah).
When He speaks about the fast,
He says that in order for you to attain Taqwa,
What is taqwa? It is the proper connection with Allah; it is piety.
It is God-consciousness.
It is the fear of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala's wrath and punishment.
So we ask Allah to strengthen all of us.
If a man doesn't understand it
That gift continues right up until the next Ramadan.
30 days, 29 days, meaning one month.
and we are dedicated people
Those who are involved in haram, as I said, should quit it.
due to the sanctity of the month
During Ramadan, people actually become more serious about things.
that they were not so serious about people
who usually have trouble dressing during Ramadan, they are
strengthened by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala in such a way that their dress code improves
and here I refer to both males and females
The dress code has improved, mashallah.
But my brothers and sisters, the whole idea is when you exit Ramadan,
Look at how the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, tells you,
Who fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six [days]?
From Sha'ban onward, you're as if you've fasted throughout the entire year.
Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan,
follows it up with the six fasts of Shawwal,
will receive a reward as if they had fasted for the entire year.
If you look at it and break it down numerically,
You will find that every good deed is multiplied by at least ten.
You fasted for one month, multiplied by ten gives you
a reward equivalent to ten months of fasting
You fast six more days, you multiply that by ten,
It gives you sixty days.
And 60 days is 2 months,
So 10 months plus 2 months entitle you to the reward of the entire year.
However, Allah wants you to continue in that beautiful dedication.
from your fasting of the six days of Shawwal.
But what is even more authentic
is known as Ayyam al-Bid, three days each month
The 13th, 14th, and 15th days of the lunar month,
we are advised to fast that,
Multiply by 10.
You receive a reward for having fasted the entire month.
Another thing that is absolutely authentic is
The fast of Monday and Thursday.
So if you love Ramadan
and you delight in the way Allah has provided for you
a season in which you refine yourself,
then you can continue with the fast
that may not be mandatory,
but it will indeed refine you to a new level where
I am no longer fasting because it is an obligation.
But I am fasting out of love for Allah.
I enjoy it, I want it, I need the reward.
and I want to improve and refine myself
such that Allah is pleased with me
and I can earn paradise.
Today, in order to lose a few kilograms,
and in order to feel a little bit healthier,
when the doctor tells you,
You should engage in intermittent fasting.
We quickly do so.
Intermittent fasting
I'm doing, what do they call it?
Sixteen or eighteen, six, which is it?
Or 16, 8, or something along those lines,
so many hours, so many hours,
And we do it for our health.
What about your spiritual well-being?
If Allah tells you twice a week,
On Mondays and Thursdays, you will fast.
You will receive a full reward.
May Allah bless you.
Forget about having known about intermittent fasting.
This is something prophetic,
It has something in it for you.
way beyond the beauty and the
uprightness of your own body and health.
It goes beyond that to something unimaginable.
It will carry all the way to paradise.
The hadith states that when a person passes away,
Many things follow that person to his grave,
but some things go back
And what accompanies the person is deeds.
What are the deeds? I'm going to work on these deeds.
I want to pack away as I would with my suitcase when I'm traveling.
Put essentials, put things that are going to help you.
You want to be careful not to carry unnecessary burdens.
because you know, if you're traveling by air, you're only allowed
a certain number of kilograms or a certain number of pieces
So I can't take any more.
I'll pack things, but I'm not going to go with empty bags.
I need to fill that bag with something.
I have a journey far more important
than any other journey I am about to undertake.
And guess which journey that is?
It is the journey into the hereafter, subhanallah.
What should I take with me? I'm going to take with me.
The goodness that I've done, not all of us are
scholars, not all of us have the capabilities to be
to teach the deed to someone but everyone
Of us can do goodness, you can be kind, you can reach out.
To others, you can stop hurting people.
You can talk to them with respect; you can share.
The little you know, we have many of us here who
are seated today
influencers on social media
Mashallah
without
Thousands of followers, tens of thousands of followers,
millions of followers, and tens of millions of followers.
You know what? Use your platform.
to encourage people to do some good deeds.
And you will never regret it on the Day of Judgment.
when you meet Allah, exalted is He.
You may notice that one small deed you may have done
on that social media platform that Allah has blessed you with
actually caused the scale on the right side to tip
And you entered Paradise.
May Allah grant us Jannah.
This is...
the last day or the last few days of Ramadan, right
the last few hours of the month, let's say
Of Ramadan, I tell you, my beloved brothers
And sisters call out to Allah, asking Him, O Allah
O Allah, I ask You for Paradise.
Oh Allah, I ask You to grant me Paradise.
O Allah, indeed You are Forgiving,
I love forgiveness; forgive me.
Oh Allah,
You are forgiving, you love to forgive
So forgive me, we wish to attain forgiveness.
We want to truly achieve
Something unique and amazing.
When we have achieved forgiveness, and we are serious about seeking
That forgiveness, we will feel a change in our lives.
We will feel a little more dedicated to prayer.
We may not have been before Ramadan.
Ramadan came as a result of the effort we exerted to achieve it.
The blessing of Allah is beyond Ramadan.
I promise you, He will give you a push.
in order to fulfill the prayer,
tasting the sweetness of that prayer
The moment you taste the sweetness of reciting the Quran,
I promised you that you will be reading it on a daily basis.
They say, but I don't have time.
One miracle of the Quran that has been tested and proven
It is when you don't have time.
and you take the time to read the portion of the Quran,
Allah grants you even more time throughout your day.
And you wonder, how come I have so much time?
But it's because you made time for Allah.
Who is the owner and creator of time?
Guess what?
He did it for you, spacing it out
and blessed you at that particular time.
You accomplish 20 things
during a time frame that you would have managed to achieve
Maybe 10 or even fewer.
Why? Because you started your day
with the recitation of the Quran, even though
Life might have told you that you don't have time.
For this, may Allah forgive us, may Allah forgive us
I can never say that I don't have time for my Maker.
because I am ultimately returning to Him
And He's going to ask me how I used my time.
That brings me to something very important.
Didn't I say the last days?
of Ramadan, let's take them seriously if you were
Not so serious in the previous days now
It is time to become even more serious.
Let us engage in worship tonight and enjoy the acts of worship.
If you have done more good than harm,
We're just looking at the scale.
If it is tipped to the right side,
You go to Jannah, Paradise.
Because you performed better.
Imagine that is Allah.
So keep doing more good deeds, more good deeds.
Because when your good deeds
are more than your bad deeds
You have already secured your place in Paradise.
Such a discount that he said,
I don't want you to fast.
I want you to focus on other things.
May Almighty Allah protect us all.
And this is why even a person on the journey,
Look at how Allah speaks to us,
giving us some leeway and telling us,
if you're on a journey,
You can make it up on another day.
True piety does not lie in fasting while traveling.
According to a hadith,
The Prophet says,
There is no righteousness,
It is not from righteousness to fast.
while you're traveling
What this means is,
when you know that you're traveling,
You have the option to fast or not to fast, and both are equal.
Don't think that if I am going to struggle
And Suffer While I Am Travelling
And I'm Going to Fast Because I'm Traveling,
Then my reward will be greater because I am righteous.
Allah says there is no righteousness.
You can fast, or you don't have to fast—it's the same.
Since you are a traveler, you are traveling.
And You Make It Up After Ramadan.
It's not a discount; I'm not making this up.
Because I Am Traveling. No, You Are Traveling.
One brother comes to me and tells me,
You know, sometimes when you learn a little bit
and you haven't learned a single bit more,
You tend to become confused.
When you're confused, please ask those who know.
He says,
I read a hadith stating that we are all travelers on earth.
That means I always have a discount.
I said, well, if that were the case,
We would be reciting verses from the Quran during prayer constantly.
and hardly anyone would be fasting
So when are you going to make it up?
Perhaps in Jahannam, may Allah forgive us.
That's such a wrong idea.
What a mistaken notion.
I told him, brother, I hope you're just kidding.
He says, well, I'm just looking for a way out.
I said, don't.
A true believer seeks a way in, not a way out.
I want to know how to fast properly.
What should I do? What shouldn't I do?
The other day someone told me, do you know what?
We allow 10 more minutes in case,
in case, perhaps, maybe the timing might be a little bit off,
You know, so we allow a buffer of about 10 minutes. I said, my brother,
Ten minutes is too long because when Allah tells you to eat now,
You can't say, well, the sheikh at my mosque told me I can't.
I have to wait another 10 minutes. You can't do that.
Allah says, eat now, the sun has set, it is over, you may eat now.
Whether the Shaykh in your mosque says, "Wait for a minute" or not,
That will not be an answer before Allah.
I tell those who create these calendars,
You know the calendars made by a human being,
the timetables,
I say, my brother, don't give in,
because Allah said,
This is the minute, this is the minute.
You can't just show up and say,
but I know a little bit better,
I'm going to give one more minute, just in case.
Allah knows the truth in every matter.
Glory be to Allah.
You adhere to what Allah has said, and inshallah you are correct.
May Almighty Allah help us and grant us goodness.
You following what I'm saying?
So my beloved brothers and sisters,
Outside of Ramadan, we are going to fast.
During Ramadan, we are going to try
and participate in all these beautiful acts of worship.
Guess what?
He is One, with no partner.
I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.

Sir,

My brothers and sisters, if you are one of those people,
Look around this room, 99.9% of the Muslims
In this room, one can never give such an amount in sadaqah.
You never have the ability to earn this reward
or the reward that the companions were envious of
of those who can give large amounts in sadaqah.
No one will be able to donate,
But we will begin searching for lions in this ummah.
Looking for those who will find courage
and give away their wealth on this night for the sake of Allah.
Watch this girl.
Her name, don't forget it.
Her name is Alma.
Say her name.
Her name is Alma.
She is 13 years old.
This is courage.
These are the people of Gaza.

This 13-year-old girl, look at her words.
Help me, I don't want to get hurt.
Not my father, who is my protector.
Don't save him first.
my grandparents, to whom I run when I feel scared
Don't save, don't save me first.
Save them.
Save my grandparents.
Save my brothers and sisters.
We have been watching this film for four months.
And we didn't know who Alma was.
And we tracked her down, my brothers and sisters.
If you were here at Light Up Online in January, you saw this video.
We only knew her voice.
Now we know her face.
This is Alma with her one-year-old.
brother trapped under the...
All of them you see
In this picture, they were massacred.
When she said, "Rescue them first,"
She was talking about her brother and sister.
All of them slaughtered.
She said to rescue them first.
She was talking about her one-year-old baby brother, decapitated.
Today, she is in a camp, in a tent, in Rafah.
trying to rebuild her life with courage, with bravery.
My brothers and sisters, on a night.
A night we can never compare, a night that could erase everything
for our sins, every sin we have ever committed on these nights.
We have a first-hand account of 24,000 pounds at my brother or sister.
Family, if you have that ability, I say again.
Very few people in this room can give like that to Khasa.
though thousands
and thousands here wish they could give like that to Khasa
They wish that Allah had granted them that wealth, but He did not.
Only a few of us are able to do this and earn that reward.
Do we have a second hand?
Light your torches, inshallah.
Shine and wave at me.
A second-hand one here today for 24,000 pounds from our brothers,
from our在过去,我们曾是姐妹。
Do we have a second hand?
And we will move it down.
We will lower the amounts to ones that everyone can donate for Hasra.
But by Allah, we need...
Do we have a first hand here at 10,000? Do we have a second hand?
A second? A third hand at 10,000? A fourth hand at 10,000 pounds?
Do we have a fifth hand at 10,000 pounds?
Raise your torch, wave your torch, inshallah.
Do we have a fifth hand here at 10,000 pounds?
We have a fifth-generation brother and sister for Gatwa.
Free! Free! Free! Free!
Hooray!
Allahu akbar!
Do we have anyone else?
Any space
to your right
Please take that space.
Also brothers at the back, on the white paper, and sisters at the back.
Please make sure that you arrange the volunteers in rows if you encourage them.
The people to move forward with these croissants and lattes.
We
have
like
Leng
Leng
food
Open it for me, Bilkis.
This is mine.
This is Bilkis's one, that's Mama's one.
Ooh, look at that.
Leng Leng.
Right now, in our time
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
He says
That his nation is like your body
Whenever your body feels pain
The entire body feels that pain
For example
Whenever you happen to be a headache
Or a really bad toothache or any injury
The entire body feels that pain.
If you try to go to work
You might not be able to function.
And carry out your daily activities
And so many of us getting sick
Because just because of that one part of the pain in our body,
Our entire body feels something.
And the ummah right now, the ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him
Peace be upon him, from him until the last Muslim is like one body.
And it is enduring a pain it has never known before.
And I'm specifically talking about our brothers.
and sisters inside Gaza right now.
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor
Upon them is not the wrath
Them (the wrongdoers) and not the ones who go astray.
Indeed, mankind is at a loss.
Except those who have believed sincerely.
And they exchanged the yellow (color) of Allah.
