Cool Math Trick ... With Cards

Hello again everybody. Okay, a lot of people have been telling me they like math tricks. So this is not necessarily a card trick, but it's a pretty cool math trick. So what I'd like you to do is pause the video and go run and grab a calculator and come back when you have your calculator. Okay, what I'd like you to do now is write down any one of these numbers, two through nine on a piece of paper. Okay, now multiply that number by 2. Okay, now add five. to the number. Okay? Now multiply the number that you have now by 50. That's 5-0. Multiply the number you have by 50. Okay? You should be keeping up with me if you have a calculator. If you don't have a calculator, pause the video, go get one, and start over again. Okay. Now, the total that you have. If you've had your birthday already this year, Add 1,759. If you have not had your birthday this year, add 1,758. Okay? Now, the total that you have, subtract that four-digit number that you have now, subtract the year you were born from the number that you have right now. You should be left with a three-digit number. That three-digit number The first number is the number that you chose. The second two digits should be your age. Let me know if that worked. It's a pretty cool math trick. And that's it.
