“YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AT STAKE!”Kamala Harris Calls on Gen Z to Turn Anger Into Action Against GOP

You know, we've been spending the last year and a half, so many of us, going through a range of emotions. You cried. Look at that. I heard you. Anger, depression, sadness, frustration, a sense of hopelessness and powerlessness. Folks feeling like, I'm watching all this happen, but I can't do anything about it. Well, that moment has passed. This is the moment where we turn that anger into action. And in particular, Gen Z generation is the largest population demographically of any population in America, meaning there are more Gen Z leaders, members, than there are even baby boomers. You, your generation, you were born in a world where you've only known about the climate crisis. You had to go through substantial periods of your education and socialization during a pandemic. You are entering a world where sometimes we want to make sure, and you're going to get it right here, that you're getting the education that will prepare you for sustainable employment in a world that is rapidly changing. It is estimated that young people in their 20s today will probably live to be 100 years old, which means that God willing, You will live for at least another eight decades. Think about that. Think about that. And then think about what you have an opportunity to do in five days to plant the seeds for what you want out of your life, what you want from your country, what you want in terms of the hopes and dreams that should be real and achievable. You have everything at stake, and you have a right to weigh in and tell people what you want. And that's what you are doing this election season. You have a right to have the best of what the world has to offer. You are here because you have earned it. You have worked hard. You have made your family and community proud by the very fact that you are here right now. And what I want for your life is that you always know that you deserve the best.
