In a battle to control Congress, this is the ground game.
If the Republicans win, you'll each have $5,000 in your pocket.
The American president seemingly everywhere recently
paid South Carolina its second visit in just nine days.
But our economy is roaring,
but if the Democrats win the midterms, they will...
Burn it all down, it'll all end, all those jobs.
Donald Trump stomping in a Republican stronghold,
potentially a sign the party is bracing
for a rough result this midterm.
Another sign.
I've always been bipartisan.
Some Republican candidates breaking
with the policies of an unpopular president.
We don't need another resolution.
We need our U.S. military and the president to end the war.
Democrats hoping to make gains.
Energized for the home stretch of this campaign.
The current president chose to make a series of bad decisions,
the most important of which was to start an unnecessary war
that nobody asked for and nobody voted for.
To win the Senate, Democrats have to hold
the seats they have in places like Michigan.
My name and my faith aren't the reason you can't afford your gas.
Not the reason you can't afford your groceries.
The party also needs to flip at least four of eight seats currently
held by Republicans in places like Iowa, Texas, Kansas, and Maine.
No easy task.
Polls do suggest Democrats have a chance, but...
Since Trump, more often than not, we are estimating more support from
Democrats than what we're seeing in election results, but not always.
Of course, the only poll that really matters is the one next Tuesday,
when Americans decide if a blue wave shifts control
of Congress to Democrats
or if Republicans are able to hang on to power.
And Aaron, I mean, we do have some other signs that Republicans
could be a bit concerned about those Senate races.
Yeah, that's right, Adrian.
Look, we know most Americans aren't a fan of tariffs.
They're linking them to the rising cost of living here.
The Trump administration's already provided
some tariff relief for people in Maine,
which is one of those battleground
states that borders Canada, obviously.
And in his rally today, a shift in tone from the president
who said Canada had been treating America extremely nicely lately.
Perhaps a sign, a thaw in Donald Trump's stance
on his unpopular trade war with Canada is on the way.
We will see. That is Erin Collins in Washington tonight.
