Arteta's midfield experiment STILL isn't working?!

I don't think this midfield experiment worked.
So, Havertz and Gakpo, it doesn't really...
You know, we've seen Rice and Guimaraes.
It doesn't really work together.
But this really doesn't work together
because Gakpo is an out-and-out striker.
Havertz works as a false nine when it works out.
I don't think this midfield experiment works.
He tried it when Xhaka went.
Havertz left eight and all of that.
He's had probably the worst game on the pitch
compared to anyone else, you know.
You know what?
I was thinking that maybe the rationale behind it
It was that both strikers are in desperate need of goals.
I mean, prior to tonight, Victor hadn't scored all season,
so he's desperate for a goal.
Havertz, he's not scored.
And the last game he scored
in was when we played Chelsea back in September.
So he's desperate for a goal.
So I was kind of thinking that maybe
the manager's playing both of them tonight.
Obviously, Havertz in that sort of withdrawn role, 9.5 as I call it,
to try and get both of them on a score sheet.
But it just didn't work out.
It didn't work out.
We knew for a long time it wasn't working out.
Now this is
What I would say
About self-inflicted
Is we had
Whilst it's a different team
Generally
There's a lot of
Similar problems
We've had with a lot of games
Take away Coventry City
Bit of Everton,
A lot of Everton
This weekend
And Bayern Munich away
Which I was
Privileged to be at
Because it was one of
The most amazing games
You know
