Dowman isn't the only one who deserves criticism from Arteta. Havertz should face it too!
Oct 30, 2026
Where's the ruthlessness with Havertz's performance?
He's having to go at Max down the tunnel,
but he's not having to go at Havertz.
I agree with what Jet's saying about Max Darwin as well,
by the way, because the guy wants to,
you know, you can't stand the heat,
get out of the kitchen.
He wants to play men's football.
You're going to be treated like that.
They're going to look at him and go,
oh, careful on the young lad.
He's only 16.
Don't go in on hard on him.
Of course they're going to, man.
He's playing out there.
He wants to win.
So I'm with you.
And I also look at Arteta as well.
And I understand there's a lack of consistency
with him being ruthless.
Like, for example,
But where's the ruthlessness with Havertz's performance?
He's having to go at Max down the tunnel,
but he's not having to go at Havertz.
But I actually don't mind Arteta having a bit of a go at him.
He obviously knows our Max better than me.
I don't know Max.
We've seen him as a 16-year-old kid.
Oh, don't be horrible to him.
He got sent off.
He's got to learn.
Actually, he might need something like that.
He might need to be spoken to like that.
You don't know the black, the dead.
Do you know what I'm saying?
So I actually mind if the manager's saying,
get down the tunnel, man.
What you're doing, you're a disgrace.
Because he needs him next game.
We've got no Saka, potentially no Madueke.
It's a great chance for Darwin to start at Anfield.
Yeah, so maybe we don't know what Arteta has said.
Yeah, we don't know if it was something that was bad.
It didn't look very complimentary, let me tell you that.
But I don't know what he has said, right?
So I don't know what it is.
But for me, I think it's a disgrace.
I don't think the players have done themselves any favours
knocking on that door saying, yeah, you started me at Anfield
because the answer should be absolutely no.
No, I won't be.
