2 stage compressor Changeout

All right guys I decided to show that compressor that I did the other day. I just edited out the parts where I was doing something that was a little bit dangerous. Just understand if you got to weld on a system you need to get all that freon out because when it burns it creates an acid that can damage your lungs, your eyes, it's not healthy. So the situation you see me in in this one try to avoid it. This morning we are doing a two-stage compressor plan on reusing the freon because it was just stuck but that's what we're fixing today. Going into this problem, see if we're doing anything right. This system is kind of tall and as you see I got me a ladder to help me get up in there. Once I get in I got plenty of room though. Sounds like water flowing. that's refrigerant boiling out of that old 500 psi on it let's say about running nitrogen when you got something like this when you got that much refrigerant in the system and you're trying to weld it's rough it's better if you have a respirator that's a two-stage compressor this is 24 volt rectifying plug for the second stage and this is my power and causing a short you can see i'm down to like a thousand microns but i've got ice on it so i'm gonna be able to pull a deep vacuum for a while let's eat that up 13.7 pounds i don't know how much i got in this drum but it ain't that much so we're gonna have to add a little bit
