“DISRESPECTFUL AND PROVOCATIVE!” Cuba Blasts US Delegation After Fiery UN Showdown

I am compelled to denounce the disrespectful, provocative attitude shown by the delegation of the United States yesterday in this hall, particularly the harassment and unconsented filming by some of its delegation against our delegation. That incident led to the involvement of UN security personnel. These are acts that are incompatible with decorum, respect for personal dignity and privacy that must prevail in this chamber. These acts are also a maneuver against a significant Cuban candidacy to a United Nations organ. I wish to here decry the presence in this chamber of a well-known terrorist responsible for acts of terrorism against Cuba, the representative of two terrorist organizations present on the territory of the United States, invited by the permanent mission of the United States to the United Nations. here i'm talking about number 52 on the list of people internationally searched for by the republic of cuba according to legal legal resolution and our official cassette they are sought for acts of terrorism they are wanted for acts of terrorism this person is also a criminal responsible for fraud that has received copious financing from the government of the United States and has diverted for personal gains such resources. I ask you, Mr. President, to request that the Secretary of the United Nations verify the conditions in which this individual has been allowed to be present in the gallery.
