50 year old air handler, and 8 year old condenser.

Alright guys, here's one where I'm going to try to show you this was frozen up when I got here and I'm letting it thaw out. This is an R22 field charge system. So right now I'm trying to determine what Freon is in it and if it is mixed. I have a high suspicion that my Freon is mixed. the only thing that makes me think it's not is this super heat is at 19 degrees 64 degree climb i may quote them on this like i did that one before to recover this freon and put in r22 now this is a newer condenser look at that over there a newer condenser but it's got like a 40 year old air handler in there let's go in and look at it real quick that's a 1971 that thing's 50 years old that last one we are dealing with a landlord that probably don't want to change out that system but i ended up quoting him a price to change out because just replacing the freon is like putting lipstick on a pig it ain't really gonna help i mean yeah it might help a little bit But a 50 year old air hammer and a 13 year old condenser ain't never really going to g-haul that well So I did give them a price to replace We'll see if they actually let me do it. I hope so
