Annick Bouvattier Painter France 1960

Annick Bouvattier was born in Nevers, France, in the mid-1960s.
Her father, a pediatrician and art lover, instilled in her a passion for painting from early childhood.
In 1982, after graduating from high school, he broke with the family tradition of studying medicine to enroll at the Berçot - Marie Rucki fashion school, where he trained as a designer for two years.
His works were later presented in Paris and at the Villa Medici in Rome, appreciated by experts and published in specialized magazines.
At the beginning of 1990 he decided to devote himself exclusively to painting.
After two years of self-taught work, in 1992 she became a student of Pierre Ramel, who taught her the technique of using a knife to paint with oil, which she uses in smooth shapes to obtain the effect of transparency.
