Increasing clouds today with above average temperatures for Long Island into the weekend

Although the days are not feeling like it, the days are looking fantastic. Yeah, we do have the nice weather conditions out there. And, you know, with some of the changing temperatures, more people are going inside at times in the morning. And you've got to wash those hands. You've got to stay healthy here. And we are watching some clouds moving in for today. And that's one of the things we'll keep an eye on. Still remaining dry out the door. And we have a bit of a chill. 37 right now in Riverhead, 37. West Hampton Beach, 37. Bridge Hampton, good morning to you in Bayshore at 42 degrees. You're at 42 right now, Huntington 44 in Hempstead. At the bus stop this morning, your school day forecast, 39 degrees. With sunshine this morning in Brentwood, a little colder than this afternoon, 61 degrees. Clouds will start to move in. You'll notice more clouds coming in. We've had wall-to-wall golden sunshine the last couple of days with barely a cloud to find. You'll notice a few more building in. So some sunshine this morning. Clouds are coming in during the afternoon. Now, as you see right here at around 1:45, your temperatures will be in the 50s to lower 60s. And notice those areas of gray from Hicksville to Hempstead to Rocking Point, Riverhead, Bridgehampton, and Montauk. Even though we'll have some clouds around today, we stay dry. Now, overnight, we're starting off with clouds. You're dry at 8 o'clock, so any evening events, you're fine.
