“FIGHT BACK AGAINST TRUMP!” Troy Jackson Delivers Fiery Message To Working-Class Before Midterms

Again, thank you everyone for coming out and, you know, the problem with introducing people sometimes you forget. I see my good friend here in the front, Colleen, who used to be a former rep, and over on the other side, Taylor West, who's actually running for the House also, and want to make sure. Yeah, and I hope I don't, I hope I didn't miss anyone else, and if I did, I'm sorry. Look, you know, exactly what Senator Warren just talked about. I met my first billionaire when I was in seventh grade, and it didn't go very well, and ever since then i've been watching how people with power and influence uh you know are holding us back i want to be clear uh you know if you've done well if you made money i don't i don't dislike you i don't begrudge you or anything like that but when you start holding other people back and trying to make uh you know i'm seeing these amounts of money off those people will have a problem with that you know most of the people that i know across maine are hard-working people they're just trying to do the best they can and right now you all know that it's the hardest it's ever been you know we're seeing fuel prices that are insane and and you know living in maine that's going to get worse because we're not even the coldest months yet you know the fishing the farming the forestry industry all those places that depend on diesel fuel are are paying obscene rates that it's not going to continue i mean that war might continue months years i i don't know but all those hard-working people aren't going to you know that's just going to be a situation where people will lose their businesses. Some of them will lose their homes, uh, because they're tied in those businesses. And you know, the healthcare cuts are just insane. Uh, and, and why, why is all this happening? Because people wanted more money. Billionaires had to have more money. I mean, it, it, it just doesn't make any sense. I mean, when does it end? Well, I'll tell you when it ends. It could end Tuesday. You know, it can end Tuesday when we take the Senate back and when we take the house back because right now you know they're not doing anything to hold anybody accountable they're not even doing their job as a congress to actually you know do oversight do good vetting on candidates it's whatever he wants he gets and it doesn't matter ladies and gentlemen if you're republican or democrat that's just not right i mean you know no one that i've ever seen a republican or democrat you know here in the Maine legislature would allow something like that to happen but we right now and you know these things with tariffs i mean trump is uh taking some off to actually help senator collins win this election what do you think is going to happen on november 4th after the election i mean seriously when when when there's no reason to help her out anymore what do you think he's going to do i mean he's shown us time and time again how he doesn't care about us and you know this election to me is not about just going back to where we were before trump it's about pushing government in a way that we've never seen before but in a way we deserve and that is really you know what is so exciting about this race is we can have medicare for all you know and and please don't let them tell you that medicare for all means that you're going to lose in your health insurance you're going to get the health insurance you deserve and and we all deserve and and hospitals will be made whole so that they get paid instead of the way things are going right now we're bad debt and charity care but they have this mindset or this is their argument is if everyone gets health care you're going to lose that is not the case i mean if we quit giving tax cuts to billionaires we quit going to foreign wars you know we quit putting money like we are into rogue agencies like ICE all these things that you know i think we're just wasting money while people in the United States are suffering. And that is what this election is really about, is making sure that we have a government that we can be proud of. I mean, the signs I'm putting out right now, it may be hokey, but, you know, she's supposed to be our senator. Well, I think it's our time. And that's what it is coming up this week.
