Another Goodman doing what they’re famous for.

That's what it is, coils are junk. I can tell this one's been replaced before. We're going to need to replace it again. There's probably 70 apartments out here, and they're all Goodman's except one that we've replaced. I get called out here almost every day, and 99% of the time it's because of low freon. And 99% of those coils are a leaking evaporator coil, and all of these are aluminum coils. you just think with an aluminum coil with an aluminum coil it's not gonna leak as bad as copper would would it but it does it's not worse these goodmans were bad about leaks before they started adopting aluminum coils now it seems like they're even worse i had one customer i tried to sell him a Ruud and then he kept insisting that i give him a goodman to put in because it costs less and I ended up losing the customer over it because I refused I refused to do it I just I don't want my company name associated with installing Goodman's this one was leaking pretty good I'm gonna try to get back in the next couple days and replace that coil one last comment about these particular Goodman systems I'll leave it 26 degrees 27 degrees C superheat my comment is about these the newer ones have like a little 45 on it so it's not so close to this lip right here those things are just a pain in the butt to get on and off I got to looking at my records on that particular apartment and that evaporator coil is the ripe old age of two years old to be replaced I know sometimes it happens to everybody but it seems like with that particular name brand all the time this complex they built it they tried to go cheap on the air conditioners and now they're having to pay for it.
