Kata Beach Nightlife Tour 2026 Phuket After Dark

What's going on everybody, this is Island Hopper TV, and today I'm coming to you from Kata Beach. I am going to show you the sunset, and then I'm going to take you into the nightlife of Kata Beach, show you what you can expect. There's a lot of nightlife here, they've got markets and everything. And I've been here now for five nights, so this has been an interesting story. Plus I've got a medical story that I'll share with you towards the middle, about how I had a medical emergency, especially with the tooth cracking. oh we've got a beautiful sunset here in Kata turned out nicely tonight that's that color you want yeah that's a beauty right there guys nice colors right there cotton candy sunset here that Phuket is known for you can see everyone just kind of lining up sun worshiping right now yep nice one guys you can see people out there enjoying their swim that's what it looks like out here on the beach they're just uh packing up some of these jet skis here we got a beautiful sunset here guys after the sunset i've now decided to come get a Leo so we'll just let that uh pour i'll drink out of the bottle all right so i got some crispy pork with some rice thank you cop you see there's my uh crispy pork with the rice nice little snack for dinner all right guys so we're here in front of the Ozo Hotel the interesting thing is i've seen people actually step in this wet concrete so they made wet uh concrete because they're fixing a pipeline or something but they put the barricade stanchion lines on the wrong side so where they should have put this this tape should have been right next to the sidewalk so people are seeing this and they're walking on the actual concrete guys it's happened in like three or four different places look at this it's happened here as well happened over here as well so look at that people are stepping on the wet concrete guys and the reason is is because they didn't put up the proper barricades either way it is what it is um those things are going to be stamped in time it's like someone put their footprints in the road but uh yeah let's explore the nightlife here and see what's going on it's just crazy to see people step on that concrete wet concrete like did you imagine stepping on wet concrete not a way to spend your night right if you got some nice Nikes or something there's actually a lot of road construction going on in Kata these days since i've been here they've just been ripping up all sorts of areas including in Patong and it could be because they're getting ready for the high season that could be a big reason let's see what happens here All right, so we're going in here to the night market lots of food and dumplings and all sorts of stuff here we're gonna see what's going on in the night market though that's for darn sure desserts cheese waffle what so many cup meals what's over here so many cup crispy prawn oh man fish lots of fish lots of seafood what is this coconut ice cream oh coconut ice cream i tried one okay cup oh yeah actually i've tried coconut ice cream before i think it's better than vanilla because you know you got like vanilla flavoring or coconut and i think coconut ice cream is pretty good frying it up it's like something that comes out at six o'clock in the morning anyway um look at this wow it was amazing how much seafood must be in the ocean somebody cop red snapper all right what do they got going on on this side so this is the Kata night market I'm showing you here salmon scallops beef chicken all that on the grill here french fries yeah they got lots of music going on Wow. Fresh Thai food here. I'll probably get that with the chicken. Oh, what do they got here? Tuna. Oh, tuna steak. Oh my goodness. Is that tuna steak? Wow. That is some beautiful looking tuna. More dessert, waffles, spring rolls. One. Whisky. It's okay. Got this right here. Kebab. Goli and stir fry there. Chicken, chicken, chicken. Good. Oh, what do they got? Barbecue. Shark. Shark, guys. Shark. yet oh it's shark real shark or fake shark real not fake go shark guys you want some shark shark steak what's you tell me all right so here we got some fruit durian sawadikap you got durian yeah is that mango sticky yeah mango sticky what else you got blue jelly this is what the inside of a sawadikap that's what the inside of a durian looks like for 155 baht it's a durian there you've never tried durian you got to try durian it's kind of like a custard from my experience but you can see they got lots of uh stuff going on here lots of food options i think the preferred language around here is russian occasionally you'll come across someone who speaks a lick of english but uh most of the people here are speaking thai or russian so when you come to kata beach be ready to speak some russian привет привет but they've got more than just food let's see what's over here and then we'll head over towards so i'll show you what's going on over there celery cup yes i just bought those right there actually bought a couple hats you can see see my thailand hat so oh yeah chang that's a good one leo i like leo i don't know why i like chang too i like singha what else we got here coming here for two weeks you better get one of those on day one especially if you're a person who enjoys the ice cold ones oh look at that so we cop look good look good yeah polo polo you got polo hello good shop good shop nice hats i like a good hat collection i always wear hats the sun out here is so bright in the daytime you have to wear a hat like you need a bucket hat and a regular hat you don't even need to bring one from your home you just buy one when you're here for like 300 baht which is like 10 bucks oh good shop yeah good shop yeah can't buy from everybody that's the thing probably bought from like good shop i've probably bought from like 10 or 15 vendors since i've been here in thailand really i'm not even kidding when i say 10 or 15 it's probably more than that actually like i've bought some shirts with full elephants on it hats i've got many different shirts i've got shirts from tailors i've got shirts from regular vendors actually they're pretty good like they hold up after a couple washes so far i've washed these like this shirt that i'm wearing right now i don't even know like what the fabric is but i've worn it i've washed it two times and still great i got it for like 300 baht just got it right there in Patong Beach all right i'm gonna go over towards soy spider-man since we've already been over here so that's the direction that i'm heading so we'll see how this goes i didn't walk this side every time i come here there's always a guy watching the news right there he's not there right now i think he might own the hotel like even after a couple years the same guy was sitting in the same chair watching CNN for the news all right so we're going over towards Soi Spider-Man on the way we'll come across a few different uh massage shops that do facials hair masks foot massage Thai massage oil massage yeah pretty good family friendly kind of massage places if you know what i'm saying um Soi Spider-Man now is not a family friendly place so this is more of a party zone never understood why people would bring young kids to a party zone where there's bars and pubs i mean i remember when i was a kid my parents would always not bring me to bars i would have to stay outside but here in Thailand people seem to bring their kids to the pub to the bar to the party streets it's like dude come on i guess if i guess i would probably do that too though so i can't really blame them but it's like just be aware that those areas party streets are not necessarily going to be what you want your kids to see probably oh wow look at that so yeah we're here at soy spider-man this is why it's called soy spider-man because old spider-man look at him good old spider-man here all right so this is the soy spider-man it kind of reminds me of bangla road i'm not seeing any kids this time good people aren't bringing their kids here this time oh it's friday night oh look for me i like to go to a place where it's like really low profile really chill like reggae bar or something just because i like to chill i don't like to be like just like if i sit down unless i'm in the mood i don't want to like have someone come up to me and ask me you know buy a drink or something Sawadee how are you buy people drinks but i have to be in the mood to want to you know do that but like i'll buy the whole bar drinks you know somebody she heard me say it so she was like hello welcome you're welcome here but here's reggae bar like here you can like have a drink do what you want chill see you're not gonna be like pressured actually this used to be the end of the road now this went from the end of the road to like look at all these extra like booths that are set up so this is like an extension of it they're really making this place into a bangla road type of nightlife bro there's a few different areas to talk to look at that kid he just works with he's just here because his mom works here and she can't find a babysitter so that's understandable but if you're on vacation you don't bring your kids here step on there oh they actually have these right here because when it rains they drop it yeah so this is the end of the road this is all new how are you all right yeah so this is the end of the road
