Todd Chrisley: The Moment I Found Out Trump Pardoned Me

Todd Chrisley recounts the moment he learned President Donald Trump had pardoned him while he was still inside federal prison.

Speaking with Mercedes Schlapp at CPAC USA 2026, Chrisley describes being stopped by prison staff and told he had been pardoned, initially thinking they were joking. He recalls returning to his dorm in tears, telling the younger inmates he had grown close to, and giving away his belongings before leaving. Chrisley also discusses his faith, family, time in prison, and his commitment to advocating for people affected by the criminal justice system. Trump pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley in May 2025.

CPAC hosts incredible guests and speakers including Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles of the Daily Wire, the late Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, Steve Bannon of War Room, Donald Trump Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Dan Bongino, and many more leading voices in conservative media and politics.
