Found water sensor activated because of a clogged drain, found an extremely dirty filter and grille. But system had a filter sized for a 2 ton when they have a 3.5 ton. Remarkably though, it was working. I don’t see how, but it was.
The formula I use for determining capacity of a a filter is :
Total square inches of filter, divided by 144
In this case it only had one filter so it was (12x24) divided by 144

Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe technician identifies a clogged drain line and an undersized air filter as the primary issues with the HVAC system. After clearing the drain and treating it with algae tablets, the technician explains how the current filter size is insufficient for the system's capacity, leading to high static pressure that threatens the ECM motor.
