I see what's going on. I get a raise.
You can't keep your hands off of me.
You got a problem with that?
No, you're right. I'm way more sexy.
Well, I'm really proud of you.
No, there's a Bible study Wednesday. You want to come?
Oh, wow. We really need to work on your dirty talk.
That's Young Sheldon stars Emily Osment
and Montana Jordan getting frisky in a bedroom scene
back in 2017. Turns out an intimacy coordinator
was requested for the kissing scenes
in the otherwise wholesome CBS sitcom. Why?
Their 12-year age gap. You see, Montana Jordan was only
18 during season one of the show,
which made his on-screen love interest, Emily Osment,
who was 30, a little squeamish.
She revealed in Jessica Radloff's new book,
That made me uncomfortable. He was a baby, a baby with a mullet.
So I spoke to producer Tim Marks,
and obviously they were not able to get one that late in the day.
But for the next few episodes, they had one there,
since the relationship between them
escalates.
It made everything easier having one there.
I think it's something that's really important."
Osment added that she didn't know
if her younger co-star even knew he could ask for
an intimacy coordinator at the time.
Director Alex Reid also acknowledged they
totally dropped the ball by not initially
having an intimacy coordinator on the set, for the smooching scenes.
Young Sheldon ran for seven seasons from September 2017 to May 2024.
The co-star's on-screen love story led
to a direct spin-off series, Georgie and Mandy's
First Marriage, which is now in its third season.
It's actually the second spin-off from the Big Bang Theory universe.
Surprisingly, the original Sheldon didn't have such warm
and fuzzy feelings about his
hit show.
Here's what Jim Parsons revealed this summer.
Take a look.
I look back now and realize that there were many ways,
at some of the best moments of my life,
I was miserable. I was not happy. I was stressed.
I felt that there was so many plates I was
supposed to be keeping in the air and that the success
and the good things of life that were
happening were only due to this overworking discipline
and whatever. That was actor Jim
Parsons opening up about the price of success.
On the latest episode of All Out with John Dean,
he revealed that he wasn't happy during some
of the best moments of his life. The Big Bang Theory
catapulted Parsons to stardom and earned him four Emmy Awards.
He also took home a Golden Globe for
his portrayal of Sheldon Cooper.
The Big Bang Theory turned out to be one of the most successful
sitcoms in TV history and ran for 12 seasons.
The cast was honored with a hand and footprint
ceremony at the iconic TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.
Parsons was also separately honored with
a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during
the height of the sitcom's success. The CBS show was
such a hit that producers created a spin-off series,
Young Sheldon, as a prequel starring
a childhood version of Parsons' character.
Parsons and actor Ian Armitage, who played Young Sheldon,
recently reconnected backstage on Broadway.
