The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has appealed to Rahul Gandhi to defer the rally until after November 10, citing the proximity of major wholesale and retail markets to Ramlila Maidan. The traders’ body estimates that potential disruption could put business worth up to ₹10,000 crore at risk. It says traffic diversions, barricading and possible transport restrictions could affect customer access to markets including Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Khari Baoli and Bhagirath Palace.
