So Nala just got her first electric fence, I wish the camera was rolling, but she just got her first big boot off a fence and she learned her lesson good hey darling so we've got two dogs going griff and nala and there's a big cliff here which i'm really hoping nala doesn't fall off uh hopefully she can just oh my god nala you could just slow down woo chill is kind of her word for uh heel kind of works chill chill chill this down here is so slippery yeah so slippery down here dudes ladies and gentlemen what's up welcome back to another video not what i had planned today but it's worked out quite nicely anyway this is old hamish hamish has not been in the video before i don't think i did film a video with him once i edited it and then i lost it somehow which was a real shame but i was actually on this river just way down that way hamish was supposed to be guiding today but it all fell through last minute so we've both found ourselves at a loose end and we've linked up come fishing left at 7 30 it's now 10 really slow guides day off sort of thing but uh anyway i have fished this pool i'll fish the next pool and then i've not fished above there so that is all going to be new water for me hamish has done it a couple times so that's what's on the agenda good fish in this river hopefully we can catch a couple hopefully i can get one on a streamer because i still haven't done that yet this season but anyway first up i'm going to throw a big nymph through this pool and if that doesn't work i'm gonna rip the streamer yeah i've called them on dry dropper up there as it riffles in i've dry dropped that top bit and got him and more summery conditions i mean i don't actually know ridgeline something yeah airflow okay we'll take it at this point if i can nice little fresh looking fish excuse the audio because you're half in my jacket okay i've opened my jacket should sound better now i'm going pretty hard on them in the bent net all right this is the fish Fish get much bigger in here but this is a super fresh, does that taste good Nala? What were you licking then? Yeah super fresh, really strong fish but they do get a lot, lot bigger than this. Hopefully we can find one. OK so really hard start to the day in terms of filming, it just gets so hard when it's raining like that, even the GoPro so I apologise because you're like half, I've got the jacket half zipped up trying to protect stuff so I apologise but we do catch that one fish. ways but this we know this area has been fished a little bit but as we get further up hopefully we run into some some pools that have not had pretty much any pressure so a bit of luck towards the end of the day we'll be into some good fishing. So this fish here is a much better representation of this this kind of fish you catch out here than the one I just caught. And lift and then you can release Sweet and I feel like I can still fish a bit in that pool. Maybe I'll throw the streamer right at the top Holy crap, haven't even seen him.
