Beautiful weekend out there with lots of sunshine, fans to visit,
some comfortable temperatures out to the chilly start of the morning,
some mild conditions into the afternoon hours.
Take a look at some of the highs from this afternoon.
60s out toward the coast, lots of mid to upper 70s,
getting close to 80 out toward Morgan Hill and Gilroy.
But now we're talking about some rain chances,
not in the immediate forecast, but as we head into next weekend.
So you're going to be hearing a lot about the potential
for some rain as we head toward Halloween and beyond.
So it's still a bit of a question mark for right now,
but we are still tracking those,
at least the rain chances going up by Saturday.
Here's a look at the satellite right now where you can see,
starting to see these systems develop up here in the north.
Some storm energy up here, another one out here in the Pacific.
For us right now, we just have a batch
of high clouds moving across the Bay Area.
It might be a very nice sunset for this evening.
So partly cloudy skies out there
as those high clouds continue to move into the region.
And current numbers, it's still nice to go for a walk,
bike ride, San Jose, 69 degrees.
Concord, lower 70s, and Novato up in Marin County checking in 69.
In fact, speaking of the sunset,
just timed it perfectly here as you can see,
looking out toward the shoreline here,
those high clouds kind of adding a new dimension to the sky.
So just get outside if you want to look at the pretty sunset right now
with those visiting high clouds paying the Bay Area a visit.
As far as overnight temperatures,
we'll bring it back down into the 40s and the 50s.
So, bundle up tomorrow morning.
We could have some pockets of fog
that may reduce visibility first thing tomorrow morning.
Now, you may have noticed the inflated water levels around
the bay as we have the high tides once again surging up.
You can see the tide table for Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday for the Golden Gate Bridge.
Mainly late in the morning into the early portion
of the afternoon with those tide levels.
So, we do have this.
Another coastal flood advisory to talk about for Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, and right on through Thursday.
Up to 1.9 feet inundation out there.
So this will impact some of the roadways out there with that peak high
tide late in the morning and to the early portion of the afternoon.
This is in place right on through Thursday.
Here's the overall weather picture once again in the Pacific.
We have a storm out here, another one out here in the Pacific.
Generally, Monday through Friday, kind of a sun-cloud mix.
And then into the weekend, some of this energy
could be approaching the Bay Area.
So once again, it's still a big question mark, but we do bring
in those rain chances as we head into the upcoming weekend.
Here is one particular forecast model out of many.
We'll put this into motion. This is through Wednesday morning
and then into Thursday and then into Friday.
You'll begin to see some energy approaching the state.
This one generally showing some rain to the south of the Bay Area,
but things could change because this is still quite
a ways out as we head into the upcoming weekend.
So definitely a pattern change as we do approach Halloween.
Forecast highs for tomorrow will
be in the 60s to right around 70 degrees.
Clouds in the morning becoming partly sunny into the afternoon hours
and a pretty quiet weather pattern,
But temperature's not moving around too much.
No major heat in our forecast, as you can see here.
Partly sunny skies, kind of a sun-cloud mix later in the week.
And then by the weekend, for all the trick-or-treaters,
we'll have to keep an eye on this potential
as we head into Saturday and into Sunday.
That always makes it a little bit more exciting.
It could be.
All right, Mark, thank you.
