James Copland with a news report today.
Ladies and gentlemen, we've had a magnitude 6.7 earthquake
right where our North American, Euro-Asia,
Indonesian, and Pacific plates meet,
right there at Fukushima.
What another terrible place to build any type of reactors, etc.
Although Japan continues to build, build, build, build, build,
There's been 28 new reactors built since Fukushima,
well, blew out or melted down in 2011.
It's still not under control, not even close,
and this is just about right on top of it.
It being, Fukushima being this inlet right here,
you can see this is just about right on top of it.
It came in as a 7 on the DYFI,
a 6 on the ShakeMap, a 43.6.
It was offshore.
And then y'all can see that this is where the North American Pacific,
Eurasia, and Indonesian plates meet.
And, wow, most of it is connected now, first time I've seen this.
you can see how many volcanic ranges
and ridges actually go into this this area here the major
volcanic range major volcanic range major volcanic
range etc as y'all can see head over to volcanoes
earthquakes.com see we have a bunch
of active volcanoes both to the north and south this
location nothing active well right well right on top of it
but i would foresee the near-term future
volcanic activity on the island of japan the past
and future as you can see here it's not a real big
jump you can see all the volcanic ranges
and ridges come into place uh a six seven 49 kilometers
east southeast
of off Funaturo Japan right off Funaturo Japan
uh all right crazy let's get some detailed
information about this bad boy i wonder how many
atomic bombs it released of energy caused a very
strong 6.7 magnitude earthquake the moon's not in front
or behind earth right now kind of a unique
situation although we are having
a geomagnetic storm it's charging our plates here of course
friday may 15th here 6.7 magnitude let's get
some info all right here is fukushima right here
you can see that this is very close volcanic range plate
to tectonic boundary volcanic range
plate tectonic boundary we have four room
the most pressure on all the plates are pushing right here
near yokohama a little bit further south a lot
of activity in this area let's see what the numbers
say all right we got the usgs that uh volcano
is active it's only seven eight miles away
which is nothing and look at this look
at this 1.7 times 10 or 10.6 atomic bombs worth of
energy were released with this one quake
and there were several aftershocks as well we're talking
about hiroshima times 10 wake up folks it's
a serious situation we
have four big aftershocks
it says after this quake we're actually compare
some information first off the usgs is six seven
and that's gonna be a depth of 44 kilometers germany's coming
at six four five we've got the
well someone i've never even heard
of National Research Institute for Earth Sciences and
disaster resilience i don't know if it's a japanese uh agency
or not but they came in at
6.6, 46 kilometers might be another new gig
in the house let's see the branch the branch came in at
6.25 plus or minus 1.8 so really they came
in at 6.4 with a bunch of weirdos default depth 10
kilometers if there's an asterisk next to it
a depth given as 10 kilometers often means there is
no depth of the quake that could be determined
with sufficient accuracy here we have a 6.5
coming in from RaspberryShake
also default depth we've got the australians the ones oh
coming in at 6.8. I always trust them the most.
Coming in at 6.8, even stronger. 57 kilometers
in depth. The Australians.
Then we have the Europeans coming in at 6.7.
The Incorporated
Research Institute for Seismology coming in at 6.7,
all around 40 to 60 kilometers. The Italians
coming at a 6.6, plus .2,
a 6.8, wow, a 6.8 perhaps.
The Italians came in at 78 kilometers,
a little bit deeper than everybody else.
And then the Indonesian government,
BMKG, came in at 6.4, 84 kilometers.
Well, as always, you got to see it here first, a 6.7, a 6.8,
according to australia major earthquake ahead just north
of Fukushima, Japan on a fault plate
tectonic boundary on several volcanic ranges
that come together in Japan, quit building nuclear
plants please, please wake your asses up in the
meantime everyone, this was a big one you can see
we're having a lot of activity
and there's no lineups I think uh we have a situation here in
about five to seven days all right
with all we know about here comes that moon and I was a little
bit wrong it was almost lined up tomorrow could
be a shitty day I want to change my three to four
day forecast into one to two days didn't know we're
this far along I'll pull it just one more
day, we have all
of the other planets on the
other side of the solar system
magnetically tugging
at my plates, and
the moon's just there to help it
out even more so.
So this is a really bad situation.
Look,
nothing's on our side of the solar system,
just the other ones.
And these are some of the times that they
look for the largest flares,
and, well,
terrible situations.
God bless, guys.
