We are very excited to welcome Kenny, James, and Ed to our store. They travelled half a day to be here with us. We started them out by putting them to work planting all of the plants we received this morning from Waterscapes. GREAT FUN!!
Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe host and guests Kenny, James, and Ed plant approximately 200 aquatic plants into various tanks during a live stream. The session showcases a diverse collection of native fish, large specimens, and saltwater life, while highlighting the unique, open-air \"Caribbean\" atmosphere of the Father Fish facility.
Alright guys, we've got our visitors are here,
Kenny is here, and James is here,
and Ed is here, and what I'm going
to do is I'm going to turn them loose
with a new bag of plants that we just got in.
I'm going to go back and videotape them.
We're going to do a live stream,
and they're going to be planting all the tanks.
So give me a minute to get this set up, and we will be good to go.
Some companies
still have HR stuck
between employees
and their data,
entering data, changing data, more and more sensitive.
Let's
see
if
I
can
get
this
flipped.
Okay,
what
I'm
trying
to
do
is...
Letters,
dear.
They keep losing it.
I'm trying to get it to maximize.
There we go.
We're just going to have to live with this.
Hey, Letter.
Frank, Frank.
Frank.
Frank.
What the hell is that?
Okay.
Hold on, Jordan.
Okay, we'll thank you later.
All right.
Guys, we got the boys busy here.
They are busy planting plants.
Here's Kenny.
What do you got?
Baby tears.
Nice.
And he's putting it in this terrace set tank up here
that has a few babies in it.
Not many.
And, Ed, what have you got?
Brazilian pennywort.
Okay.
Where are you putting it?
Oh, how nice.
Can I wait for that first?
It's perfect.
Perfect.
Perfect.
Okay.
Where's James?
There's no over there.
There he is.
Yeah, well, well, so what are you working on, James?
Money work, okay, that's a tank that needs help.
Yeah, perfect, perfect, perfect, you've got about
Oh, I don't know, let's see, we already got some
water with stereo in that looks good there's
feather, now the parrot feathers are some
long low tanks over there that are um natives, mostly native fish
That'd be a good tank to put
them in, there are four tanks there
See how Penny's doing, old enough
to reach over, that's a good
trick, I can't do that, look
at that, look at that dynamite
And Ed's doing money
work here, pretty
plant, that's nice, everything here is grown right up north
of us in Plant City, yeah, every bit of it
It's a local farm.
Yes.
Oh, yeah, I love it.
I love it.
Right.
Yeah.
It's a local farm that raises hundreds of different kinds of plants.
And that's where I get all my plants.
Okay, Kenny, what you got?
Looks like a...
Ludwigia
Rotala Vietnam Rotala.
Rotala.
It is pretty.
A Vietnam Rotala.
Very nice.
Pretty plant.
Do you want tweezers?
You're good with that.
Okay.
Let's see what...
Pardon? Right. Okay.
Let's just put them right here.
What you got there? Oh, wonderful.
Mermaid's a pretty plant. You can put that in a...
Well, let's see. Let me show you what's over here.
That's the forward feather. Yeah. So, these tanks,
there's water wisteria and not much else.
These tanks are native fish, mostly. We'll at some point
be collecting some of these so you can both get it well there are flags
and there are also some
jewels and there are jewels not native
but there are flag fish in there yes so you can do the
mermaid and the parrot feather
in these tanks well can we get down low first it's up to you
whatever you want to do you're you're
in charge spring water wisteria
it's two different plants
This is water sprout.
So water sprout is thicker.
Well, it's a different kind of plant.
It's a more rounded leaf.
Wisteria is a more pointed leaf.
They also grow differently.
I love this.
It's a giant.
Yeah.
They're like three feet in this room.
Well, the water sprout will also grow floating.
But they're totally different kinds of plants.
This is the mermaid.
I'd rather just take it all out.
Yeah, there you go.
whatever they're just we
do native fish
in these in these four tanks it's
a new right sure is they
both are actually let's see what's going on over
here what you're working on oh that's nice that's
a pretty plant i like
that one yeah exactly and you can kind
of mix and match too if you want
no they don't need
to be what else you got
over here you want to get
into what do you want to get
into. What is that?
Bacopa. Smells
like
licorice.
Yeah. I got
this open.
This is
Anubias, and we're not going to plant that right now
because these will all go on driftwood
when we get around to it. We're not going to do that right now.
Like this. This is a good example of Anubias growing
on driftwood.
That's nice, yeah.
Bacopa's
a nice plant.
That's another Florida native.
You can find a lot of that locally.
See what they're doing over here.
Oh,
nice.
A flower.
A bit of a flower.
A lot of these guys do underwater flower.
Some are.
Yeah, some are.
Don't know about that one.
Hi, guys.
Yeah, we got some people visiting from out of town.
They were doing a live stream of them planting all
the tanks with the new plants that have just come in.
What are you all looking at, looking for?
salt water what do you like okay i feel like
Hippuridoides very nice
pretty pretty plant
oh yeah yeah we just did
the bacopa over there
with Monia gracilis hey
be right back you see what
you're looking at over here looking
at the salt water did you see the pygmy seahorses i have two
I'll show you what do you these are anemones
they're 25 each i think it is two on a rock
that's a coral i'm with it right okay
so we got one off and that one's home with a coral
i think i can get them
off yeah that's a rescue
these up here i had
some gobies up here
which I don't see.
I think it's
a goby.
I can't tell.
I think it's a goby.
What kind of goby?
The only gobies that
are out there.
I've got some little ones
there.
That's a goby.
There are two of them in there.
Just break it up.
It's the willow moss.
Break it up into small clumps
and just spread it around
in lots of places yeah
that's a pretty one look
at that okay and i'm not
going to take it off this
coral
we'll just
leave it
on because
i don't want
to injure it
here you go
here you go
Call me when
you're ready I'll be right over here how
are we doing oh look at this nice all right
which is this
This is the Anubias gracilis.
gracilis?
gracilis.
T-R-A, I think.
gracilis.
Wonderful.
See how we're doing here.
We're getting down to it.
We've got a lot of bolts.
What are you working on, Teddy?
All the mosses, that willow moss.
We just got a big clump of, we bought a pound of willow moss.
So that'll be wonderful, getting it growing in all of our tanks.
Let's see what James is up to.
Nutella Wellici.
Put that in one of the
smaller tanks. Whatever, there
or over there.
Wherever it needs help.
Look at that.
Pretty stuff.
And you don't need to vary that.
It's leaded
so you can just kind of let it
drip and it'll send roots down
all by itself.
Nice.
Yeah.
Very cool.
You can spread them out.
It is nice, isn't it?
Yeah, it tends to sit in shops and get kind of weak.
Okay.
Sounds good.
Uh, 25.
Pardon?
Yeah, yeah.
Sir, did you guys
see that fabulous
song that she who
shall not be named
made and sent to
leave?
You need to go on his channel and listen to it.
It is the new opener for, uh,
their publication screens.
Thank you, guys.
You bet.
You too.
get back on the computer get back
over here we're getting down
to it there's a lot of balls
you spread the balls out yeah under yeah put them what you want
to do is they
they're different kinds oh good okay yeah
open it up let it out uh things like
this need to be
buried there is a stem see it you see what you want
that oh right um same with the scent
for the stem off.
I don't know. What do you think?
It ain't never going
to sell
that way. We could float them.
I don't know where to put them.
Someone will have to say maybe
here or here.
Yes, right.
Just
called,
told
me
we lost video. We certainly
did it. You got a piece
of that anyway. Father Fish
is haunted, Tommy says.
Ain't that the truth?
We're not going to fix it. We're going to
we're going to be done uh we got all the plants planted
um i could go back and show them but it's
it's uh not real dependable
so i'm not going to worry about it uh what i'll do is get the guys
in here give them all a chance say hello uh
and then i'm going to take them to to an early dinner
after which we might do some collecting
and they'll be doing a live stream here again this
evening so let me get him in here be right back
guys want to come in and say hello on the screen
oh let me go get up okay oh they'll
be here in a minute thank
you Mayor Page for calling
had no way of knowing we
were dead spinning
loading circle that's
a cat that's not a dog
tommy says the dog moved might have that was
his haunted video got frozen at 320 about
maybe 10 minutes ago. We did see some
of it, though. I guess he got a little
bit of it. So we got a chance
to see the guys
all working hard.
Tommy wants to know he's paying for
his plane ticket from Denmark
to
Florida.
Come on
in, guys.
So say hello.
I have to tell you,
they're
a big fish tank.
Oh, yeah. Okay, well, they're out there smoking.
Oh, all right.
They'll be right in. They'll be in.
Pull the chair over.
Chattanooga Ed's here.
Yeah, the small fry out of these guys.
Right.
So we lost signal at some point with the phone, but I think we
got enough for people to get a sense of what we were doing.
It was a lot of fun.
We did six hours work in about 20 minutes, I think.
It was amazing.
That's awesome.
Well, Daniken, Kenny E, is pretty hungry, so he was flying.
Yeah, he was.
he did twice as much as anybody right i
was trying to get him real pretty
right you did good you did good that was a lot
of fun i was real curious to see how that would
all work out because you know it's everybody always has different ideas
and we had um i think
there were a hundred what's it 200 it
was 200 plants total broken down into groups of about 10
And so there were about 20 bundles of plants.
That was very neat.
And there are a lot of plants that we don't get to see.
So that was really neat.
Right.
Yeah, try to get a lot of oddball stuff.
That one that had the smell was bizarre.
Oh, the Bacopa.
Isn't that neat?
Yeah.
And then Kenny found another one that had it,
or James, I guess, that had a really nice odor.
The Pecopa, when you're out collecting and walking through the brush,
the long crepes, you can smell it when you step on it.
It smells like licorice.
I'm just looking at some of the comments going back.
Yeah, you've got a lot of great people in here.
Oh, yeah, we do.
We have a lot of fun.
The morning stream, did you catch it this morning?
We had it for about five minutes.
but uh man i love your big screen i could read
this thing nice yeah we got 40 watching
33 thumbs up here comes kenny makers here's
kenny here should i uh yeah maybe you can get
in back or something one of you let's try
to get everybody in here here well i'm the little guy
let's try and slide behind you
to stand back there i guess why are we not getting it takes
a second it's a delay oh let me get back over
to stream oh you're good there we go we're here
we're all here wonderful well welcome guys i put them
to work as soon as they got here
cracking the whip i had six hours work ahead
of me they did it all in 20 minutes so now we get to
go eat hey hey ian i'm evolving dude i i can i can
do plants once in a while plants are good he did
good now father fish calls me a week
and says they're all dead and we all warned him i mean
he was pushing harder than anybody i think he's
really hungry we're going out for some seafood
and then if we have time we'll do a little collecting uh
and then y'all want to come back
and do um you want to do a live stream
this evening well the one that i do the scheduled
one that i do every week is at 10 30 at night
so it's a little late it's up to you if you want to
do it here i'm i'm game if you're game for it
that would be amazing i'll just let him just come back
or you know where we can hang out uh-oh he's ringing
the bell at us there went the sand bell
well nice to have you all here i'm glad to be here it
is so neat here it is it is amazing well
Tell us what struck you
as different than what you expected.
I loved the big cichlid pond.
What?
I loved seeing your deep sand beds in action.
I did a whole lot in my fish room.
You did.
I saw that.
And I really enjoyed seeing yours, you know, the seasoned ones.
It was really neat.
Yeah, they're like 8 to 10 years old.
He's got like a two-foot red tail here.
Gorgeous fish.
Oh, he has a bicher.
Oh, he's three-foot.
He's huge.
All I know is it's not fishing terms.
But the bichir is like that.
Yeah, I've got a bichir the size of a softball.
Big around as a softball.
He's immense.
Yeah, is that a thing?
The size of my head.
He came in that way.
Somebody grew him out that big.
In fact, it was a man who grew out a number of big fish
and developed terminal cancer.
And nobody in his family was interested in the fish,
so he brought the whole collection in.
And we were able to get a lot of it farmed out to people
who like big fish.
But we kept the big bichir.
He's just real special.
Well, one of the little red tails was sleeping on top of him.
Oh, right. I've got two smaller ones.
When you say little, you mean only a foot long.
Yeah. But the bichir made it look little.
Right, right, right. So what was unique for you, James?
I like that it's your open air setup.
Oh, yeah.
You know, you've got the shops open in the back
and it's kind of open in the front and it's...
Kind of gives you that Caribbean feel.
Yeah, you know, it's not your typical,
you walk in and it's all sealed up and you get what I'm saying.
It's the open air, almost like a market experience, if you will.
Oh, very good.
I hadn't really thought of it that way.
That's great.
That's a nice, a nice feel.
We have an overhead door in the delivery, overhead garage.
It's a big one.
It's like, I don't know, 15 feet wide.
20 feet tall.
20 feet tall, yeah.
So we threw that open in the summer and fall and spring.
James, do you want to sit out here?
No, you're good, buddy.
I'm just trying to keep this out of my backside.
So what was unique for you, Kenny?
I love that pond back there with all those big fish.
All the pond, yeah.
That's my favorite.
That's neat, isn't it?
That big fish that you have in there is gorgeous.
It is pretty.
I've got two of those ponds there.
I don't know what they are, like 400-gallon big blue ponds
that I got out of a fish room from a friend,
a very, very good friend who passed about a year and a half ago.
He had a stroke and didn't survive the stroke.
But he had had fish all his life and just had a huge,
huge collection of fish.
we were able to get most of those
farmed out to
new homes.
Thank you, Mary. I was looking through
comments on here. Thank you all for doing
an awesome job. We've got 41 people.
43 now and 40 thumbs up. Thank you
for doing that. I still got to moderate even though
I'm on here. I like the
parakeets too.
It's a huge parakeet.
Like a
terrarium.
Atrium.
That's neat.
did you hear i'm gonna play this did you hear
