Let's start things off with Floris No. 89 Eau de Toilette,
Citrus Lavender Drywoods.
This is a classic men's fragrance
that has very English grooming characteristics.
And if you look closely in the movie Skyfall,
you can see that a No. 89 shaving bowl made
its appearance in the movie.
And to further support that James Bond would wear
this fragrance, all we have to do is
go back to the creator of the James Bond series,
Ian Fleming, to note that No. 89 was one of
his go-to fragrances.
That being said, if that fragrance doesn't
do it for you, you want something deeper,
richer, let's check out Penhaligon's Sartorial Eau de Toilette.
Again, we've got the note lavender,
but we're also going to bring in leather accords
and an interesting steam accord.
The idea here is this fragrance evokes kind of a tailor shop,
which makes Sartorial an excellent
pick for James Bond whenever he's suiting up,
whenever he wants to look good, whenever he needs
to fit in, accomplish the mission.
But, perhaps the most versatile fragrance right here that I
think Bond would definitely pull off is going
to be Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver Parfum. Yes,
it's dominated by the dry vetiver,
but it's got a bit of sweetness with the saffron. And in the
opening, a bit of orange blossom, an absolutely beautiful fragrance.
And because of the vetiver,
it can be dressed up, it can be dressed down.
It is perfect for any high-stakes situation.
And since we're talking about fragrances
that can move from a formal dinner to a brutal
confrontation, let's go over to the House of Creed.
And I'm going to go ahead and throw in
the aptly named Creed Viking.
Crisp, clean, clear, you've got that right there in the bright
citrus in the opening and aromatic lavender throughout
the life with a nice woody dry down.
Yeah, Creed Viking is definitely a fragrance
that James Bond would be wearing.
Next up, we've got Tommy Conlon,
played by Tom Hardy in the movie Warrior. I love this character
because he is tough, he is brutal,
he's not a man of many words, and he takes care of a mad dog
twice and I love both times. You know what I also love about Tommy?
He's not afraid of something
just works. Dior Sauvage Elixir, yeah,
he definitely would be pulling this fragrance
off in his downtime. Now, if you've ever smelled this fragrance,
what you get is a lavender inside
a dense mix of warm spice, licorice, and dry woods.
Of all the Dior Sauvages, this one is
probably the most potent and that licorice note is really unique.
And why I'm pairing this one
with Tommy, whenever you spray this fragrance on, it is explosive.
Seriously, you can wear this
thing under your clothing, but whenever she gets in close,
she gets a whiff of that scent, it is
going to draw her in, it is going to grab her attention.
Now, if that one's too conventional
for you, let's look over at Nasomatto Duro Extrait de Parfum.
Dry woods, leather, a restrained spice.
This fragrance in its accords, it just feels strong.
It just feels muscular. It's really
stripped of all its decoration.
And like Tommy, this thing is just bare bones. This fragrance has
a single-minded fighter's identity.
Some people find this fragrance difficult to read. It's not
out to charm anyone. But, you know what?
If you smell this fragrance and you love it, you have
found something that you can wear for yourself.
Now, this next fragrance is one I know many of
you guys are familiar with.
You got pine, leather, tobacco, settling into an earthy
patchouli and moss. This fragrance is a classic.
If you've ever been in a locker room, you probably
have smelt this fragrance.
And that's why Tommy would wear this one. It's practical, it's
weathered. It's probably a fragrance he's got good memories of.
The fragrance I'm talking about is
Ralph Lauren Polo EDT, aka Polo Green.
Next up, we've got Tony Montana. Played by Al Pacino in
the movie Scarface, Tony Montana is all about excess.
Open collars, bold tailoring, theatrical
confidence. Tony Montana wants to walk into a room and own it.
He never wants to be the guy
in the corner. He doesn't want to disappear.
So, having said that, Paco Rabanne 1 Million
is definitely a fragrance that he would wear
and probably overspray with.
Now, I can see him going with the EDT.
I can see him going with the new black,
maybe even the Elixir. But, for this video,
let's go ahead and throw him the Parfum because I have
a feeling this is the one Michelle Pfeiffer would buy
for him. Now, what's interesting about the
parfum is this one's still strong, but it's a bit different.
It's got this salty floral character
with a bit of leather. Still,
it's got that vanilla sweet accord to it. I see him wearing
this fragrance with one of his white suits,
again, overspraying it. This guy wants to walk
into a room and be seen, actually be smelt before he's even seen.
I'm sure Tony also likes the gold
bar look, hence why he's got like 15 of these flankers.
Now, if that fragrance wasn't enough,
he also has Versace Eros, which you guys are saying,
come on, he's going to smell like every
other guy in the club. We know Tony,
he is going to clear the club out. He's going to pull out his
gun and shoot in the roof a bit.
And he's going to smell good because as you guys know, with Versace,
all those Eros fragrances,
what I love about them is that mint and vanilla combination.
They also have great projection, great longevity.
And, yeah, this is the fragrance I see him wearing
especially in the early days.
He's going out with his friends, having a good time. Yeah,
getting into a little bit of trouble.
Now, if you wanted to go with something niche,
I see him going with a Xerjoff Herba Pura Eau de Parfum.
Herba Pura is strong, it's potent,
it is not a quiet fragrance.
Yet, because it's from the house of Xerjoff and it's expertly
blended, this one has a bit more of a luxurious kind of feel to it.
And I can see Tony wearing
this one whenever he's entertaining guests,
maybe going down to Colombia to see friends.
And speaking of Colombia, whenever he's got
the Colombians coming up to see him,
I imagine Tony when he's holding
his little friend to be wearing Roja Enigma.
Cognac, tobacco, vanilla, and whatever else he is doing,
Tony is having a great time just
entertaining his visitors from down south.

Next up, we've got Thomas Shelby.
Played by Cillian Murphy in the show Peaky Blinders,
Tommy is a man of immaculate tailoring that is calculated
and ambitious. Now, as that he loves
tobacco, the first fragrance on this list is going
to be Viktor & Rolf's Spice Bomb Extreme.
Now, the tobacco in this fragrance is definitely going
to be sweeter. It's got also a bit of
peppery spice and vanilla.
And if you have never gotten your nose on Spice Bomb Extreme, come on,
what do you think? Get out there, smell this.
What I love about this fragrance is you don't
have to put a whole lot on it.
That spice with the vanilla just carries the fragrance. It's
very distinctive. It is one of my personal favorite fragrances.
And because it's a designer,
it's relatively easy to find, which speaks to Tommy.
He's a man of the people, right?
He wants a fragrance that's warm,
but is still a bit forceful, one that you can't avoid,
one that you can't forget.
Next up on this list, we've got Initio Side Effect Eau de Parfum. Rum,
tobacco, cinnamon, vanilla.
It's a very memorable, but yet charming fragrance that I see Thomas
Shelby wearing whenever he wants to entertain guests
in the evening. It can also be seductive,
masculine. Whenever you're entertaining,
you know, a princess from Russia,
hey, you want to come off and put your best foot forward, right?
And sticking with the theme of tobacco,
but a little bit sweeter, let's bring in the honey
tobacco fragrance. And I'm talking about Xerjoff's Naxos.
So, yeah, we've got that
honey tobacco, you've got lavender, and the warm vanilla.
All of this gives Naxos a luxurious,
generous character. And where this one
is different from all the other fragrances,
it's got a beautiful bright citrus opening.
So, it's a lot like Shelby. Initially,
you can be disarmed by how friendly and bright he is.
And then, when he's got you in close,
he's got you wrapped up, it is too late to react.
And speaking of danger, let's go over to John Wick.
Played by Keanu Reeves,
John Wick is out to settle a score after tragedy befalls his puppy.
Defined by discipline and a devoted approach to his work,
I imagine that John Wick as we
knew him who was still in a time of mourning,
well, almost all the fragrances he's going to
wear are going to be dark and deliberate.
So, with that being said, let's start things
off with Tom Ford's Ombre Leather.
We're going to go with the EDP here and this fragrance when
you smell it, it's unmistakable.
Black leather, cardamom, and jasmine, all of this would work
perfectly with John Wick's suits and the intensity underneath it.
When you wear Ombre Leather,
this is for the polished character that's wearing
the fragrance for himself. It's unmistakably
strong and masculine. And for anyone that gets up close,
smells this, and does complain, well,
they're not going to be around very long.
Now, that being said, as we know, John Wick shops in
some of the finer stores.
So, we would expect him to have access to Nasomatto's Black Afgano
EDP. Now, personally, I'm a huge fan of this fragrance,
but it isn't one that's going to get
you compliments. Now, this is a dense resin woody fragrance
with a bit of incense. It's another
fragrance that a man wears for himself,
especially a mysterious man, a man that's not going to open
up to the general public, a man that maybe people just know
is the boogeyman that hasn't been around
for a few years, a mysterious character
who comes out of the dark and puts a knife up to your
throat, yeah, Black Afghano is definitely
the fragrance that I can see John Wick wearing
whenever he goes out hunting at night.
Now, I do want to go ahead and throw in
Lalique's Encre Noire. This fragrance is very, very unique.
I've heard it compared to
pea soup. But, seriously, don't let that turn you off.
It's actually incredibly affordable
and it's an interesting combination of cypress and austere vetiver.
It basically creates this
quiet, dark first impression.
When you smell this fragrance, you're like, okay,
This is something unique, this is something masculine.
It's definitely something deep,
rich, and dark. And for a man of few words,
a man that wants a fragrance that is going to be
unlike anything else people are wearing, this may be your pick.
Now, all that being said, if you want
a wearable fragrance that John Wick would
possibly endorse, I'm not sure he would wear it,
but let's go with Man in Black by Bvlgari.
Rum, leather, warm spice, you know,
I'm not sure that John would partake of drink,
but I can see this fragrance reminding him
of the bar in The Continental. And, again,
despite the name, I find this fragrance actually a bit brighter,
lighter, relatively easy to wear
despite some of the deeper richer notes.
And because it's from the house of Bvlgari,
you can easily find it anywhere out there
on the web. And so, yeah, if you're looking for
something to gift for a John Wick fan, this one is probably it.
Next up, we've got Tyler Durden played by Brad Pitt in the movie,
Fight Club. So, first up on this list, we've got Histoires de Parfums,
1969 EDP, peach, patchouli, coffee, and chocolate.
So, that combination right there,
interestingly enough, is unique, seductive.
It's pleasure-seeking, very similar to Tyler,
at least his fun side.
And it's got a nice contrast between earthy accords,
sweet accords. It brings them together.
And for anyone familiar with this fragrance,
it gets stranger as time goes on.
The next fragrance I imagine Tyler wearing,
Oud Whisper by Agar. So, the note breakout on this fragrance,
especially in that opening,
right there, you've got a bit of spice.
You've got a red chili pepper with guava and black
pomade. Then in the middle,
you're drawn in with that orange blossom sandalwood. But that oud with
a bit of leather, it's always present
and it's always letting you know that it's a little bit
naughty. Yeah, I like this fragrance for Tyler
because I see him going around as that soap
salesman wearing this fragrance that, oh, it smells nice.
They get in close and then they
realize, yeah, they're being sold something they don't expect.
And despite that, they still love
it. And for any of you Fight Club fans out there
on a budget, check out Guy Laroche's
Drakkar Noir. Now, of course, if you're over the age of 40,
you know this fragrance. This thing
was one of the most popular fragrances out there.
But, for a lot of the younger guys,
it seems to have disappeared.
And honestly, if you want to be a rebel inexpensively and you
want a fragrance that is going to get compliments,
gents, that sharp lavender, the green herbs,
the moss with a bit of leather,
this fragrance is a classic for a reason. If you look around,
you can find some amazing deals on it.
Next up, we've got Logan aka Wolverine
played by Hugh Jackman.
Rough, guarded, connected to the wilderness, a bit animalistic.
Yeah, let's start this off with an unexpected designer pick,
Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme
EDP. This fragrance has dry leather, cypress,
and vetiver notes, giving it a very rough,
uncompromising masculine scent.
It's tough, it's practical, it gives a worn feel to it,
and definitely something I think Logan,
if he decided to get dressed up, maybe be called patch,
hang out over in Singapore, I can see
him wearing this fragrance to blend in.
Next up, we've got M. Molfson's Red Colorado.
Now, personally, I've talked about this fragrance
multiple times because I love it.
At the top, we get this beautiful bergamot cypress fir pine mix.
In the middle, we've got this really nice set of woods with guaiac wood
and with cedar. And at the
base, leather, vanilla, patchouli, but it's not overpowering.
Definitely, this is going to be an
earthier. You feel like you're out in around pine trees in Colorado.
And because of that and its
nature feel, I imagine Logan pulling this one off,
he wouldn't necessarily have to be in Colorado
because he's normally taking driving jobs
a little bit farther down south out in the desert.
But, hey, you never know, he may find a mission,
decide he's got to travel up north. And if he
didn't, he packed a dop kit, this fragrance
would suit him well. And with that being said,
gents, if you enjoyed today's video, boom,
I got another one for you right here.
Great seeing you guys. Take care and I will see you in the next video.
