I asked AI one question, and it built a live sponsor tracker from my own files. I did not upload a single file. In this video, I show you WorkBuddy Library, a feature inside WorkBuddy, Tencent’s desktop AI agent. The Library puts your docs, data, pages, team, and AI agent in one AI-native folder tree. I walk through the full workflow: find briefs, build a shareable page, update a script, and publish a live link that updates itself. Comment “WorkBuddy” below or use the link in the description to try it, and tell me what you build!

------------------- Clips channel @jonlawclips
I do NOT sell any products of my own. Watch out for scams.
So guys this page is tracking everything
that I owe sponsors for this YouTube channel this week
and I didn't upload a single file to make it.
All I did is I asked AI one question and it went into
my own folders of brief scripts and data.
It found what it needed and it built this and when
a client messaged me an hour later
with a change it automatically updated this page so the same
link without having to start over.
Now this tool is called WorkBuddy Library and I want to show
the whole workflow step by step from the question through
to the live link gonna be a fun one so sit
down grab your coffee and let's go now the problem
with how a lot of us use AI right now is your
context isn't saved right you prompt something
it generates results you paste that into a doc
and then in every new chat you can't access that previous doc
or work or context that was created
so the workflow that we're walking through in this video
is powered by WorkBuddy that's a desktop AI
agent out of Tencent and Library is a feature inside of WorkBuddy
and at a high level just
to level set us the library is like one shared space
for all of your files your team and your
AI agent so things like your docs your data
and pages will sit in one folder tree that is AI
native so the agent can just work with what's already there
and what it makes gets saved back
so you can edit and save it and share it
and keep updating it over time and the idea is that AI
shouldn't just generate your work it should stay in the work
and so that's the fundamental concept
powering this and that said we're going to jump
into my computer to take a look at this workflow
now if you want to follow along the link
to download is in the description or comment work
buddy under this video and so you can install it
and just follow along while we're doing the same
on the screen here and that said let's jump
into my computer here we are inside work buddy we can
see the web version right here at workbuddy.ai forward slash app
and this is the desktop app
which is where we're going to be doing most
of our work now there's a lot here we're not going
to have the time to get
into so experts skills connectors assistant etc but if i jump into the
library what you can see right here is a channel ops folder
so inside that folder i have brief
or some videos i have a script for one video
and then a sponsor tracker and brand new so just like
like you use your existing kind of Google Drive system.
This is a kind of equivalent,
but it is going to be AI-native.
And so I wanna start off by illustrating
that AI-native feel for this folder
and this library structure.
Let's jump into the assistant right here,
and I'll go ahead and give it this prompt.
So what do I need to deliver this week?
Check my briefs and the tracker
and give me a list with each brand,
the deliverable, et cetera,
and then build me a page from the tracker
that I can share with my editor
what i have to do this week this combines a lot
of things we're not going to tell the agent
specifically where to go we're going to see
if it can find that and then if it can summarize
that information effectively and actually build me
or program me a tracker let it run okay and
we can see here that it found the briefs
and it's pulling skills to read and then to edit them okay
so now we can see what's already being done what's due
this coming week in october and then next week
as well and it's still leaving an html page
with that information here we go it's done so we can
see a little task list this week based on those files
of what's due what's waiting on me and what
i'm waiting on a brand for so do this week with all the steps
and what we need to do and we can
see that this lives as a little url here
which is pretty cool so we can play around with that and
open tabs in the browser if we want to so that's nice
but what happens a lot in situations like
this is a brand will ask for a change maybe you want
a 90 second integration instead of a 60
second integration and usually with ai right you have
to regenerate the entire script so what i
want to ask it to do now is edit
or update that library content for me i'm going to say this also
change their brief the read is now 60 seconds instead of 90
and offer us the land in the first
20 seconds update the existing integration script to match
and keep the script the same otherwise
now just to show you for context if we jump
into here we can see what that integration brief looks
like and so here's the pdf document uh brief
and then here's the script that goes along with that
brief so we can see kind of word by word what
those 90 seconds looks like so let's jump back
into the task and we'll go ahead
and see if it can update that brief for us now same thing again
i don't want to have to point to a specific file
so we're just going to let it find it on my behalf
but here we can see it's going to go ahead
and restructure the offer and make those edits on my
behalf okay it looks like that update
was made okay it looks like that update was made so we
can see now v2 is marked right here
and now this is what is pretty awesome about this ai native
kind of library which is of course you don't work
on these things in your business alone
what i can do i can see the online version right here i'm going
to click share i'm going to click
copy that link and then here i can see let's say i'm
the editor right for this i can review
the script that the ai edited
and i can say something like let's leave a comment and say
say the code twice and then i'll go ahead
and say something like this line runs long on camera so in
this way you can share those ai native docs
and files and then team members can collaborate and
edit those files as well
and so now we're going to jump back into the agent and just say can you
update the script based on the editor's comments that were left
and while that's generating i've
gone back into the sponsored deliverables html doc
that was created i'm going to click share
and then publish as website and then i'm going to copy that link
and so this is now being published
just kind of a mini collaborative website,
or I can see this now on my phone right here and go
make any edits, leave comments, or just see this information.
So this is how I could share that
information with my team. Okay, cool.
So we can see it looks like the document was updated. Let's
go into the library. And so we can see the update,
for example, saying decode twice, and this
sentence was broken up. So that all looks good.
And for a final test here, let's jump back to
the task and let's say this I received this message from the auto team
so the same you know
transfer client there
and they said hey can we push the shoot to Thursday and the
new code is also ready. So what we want to see is I have
this on my phone my team has access to this
weekly to-do list essentially if that needs
to get updated can I just ask the agent and on all
our devices will this just instantly update
and reflect the updated situation. So let's see let
it run and we'll see if it updates
and so while this is working again i hope you can kind of see
the underlying system here the goal being
an ai native document collaboration system for
your business that's the goal i think that is the future
and what all businesses in various forms
are going to shift to over time of having
these agents team members work together to work on
deliverables like you know your documents your files
your apps etc okay we can see it has been
successfully updated to thursday
so there we go i think that's a very good example of this kind of
ai native system so kudos to work buddy
and hope you found this useful a few things to know as you
go ahead with this number one ai actions do use credits
so storing files organizing them and
editing by hand does not use credits if the agent is building something
then credits are being used
number two edits to written docs do wait
for your approval that can be good or bad depending
on the kind of work or how you like to work
or engage with AI and then edits to web pages do
just happen without approval
and then overall i think this is best currently in its setup for
lightweight agents and trackers as opposed to more kind
of data heavy full custom app developments
and i think that's a fit for most of you
but it does depend on what you're looking for so there
you go that is Work Buddy pretty cool system
and much more AI native i think than its predecessors
now again if you want to support the channel
and try this out and you didn't already you can
comment Work Buddy under this video
or go to this link on the screen i hope you find it useful hope
you learned something appreciate you being here and i will see you
