Hi, Bold Bakers. I am here in Costa Mesa,
California, in the Sub-Zero Wolf & Cove
showroom. And I am here today, very excited
to pick out my brand new kitchen. Hi, welcome to
the showroom. Thank you for coming in.
This is the showroom for the state of California.
I love the showroom. I'm blown away.
It's just like walking into your dream kitchen and having
every piece of kitchen equipment that you want.
Your double ovens, your wine fridge,
huge big ranges it is talk about kitchen goals you want
to take a little tour and we can see
yeah i'd love to what's probably one
of the most photographed things in our showroom is this
combination so we have an 18 inch freezer 30 inch refrigerator
and 18 inch wide wine it holds 59
bottles it's dual zone you're tall
so this works good for you yeah what's nice about this designer
is that these are all separate units
so okay you can build it kind of like dominoes oh really yes
so if this 18 inch freezer wasn't big enough you could do a 30
and a 24. and then maybe this
wouldn't even have to be there maybe you could move them down
or something is that right yeah
this is our demo um area totally we have
a full-time chef our fabulous molly's our chef
and we do consumer demos for customers in market we
also do mastering your kitchen post purchase
so here's the 24 fridge and 24 freezer
and what's nice you can adjust the shelves on the door cool
so everything yeah that's really easy
to move everything yeah everything's adjustable so no
matter what fridge you get what style there's going
to be a pure air filter it came from NASA
technology and it's a filter it's really easy to change
and it goes every 20 minutes and takes the
ethylene gas and the odors out
so you won't have to have the baking soda box in there anymore
and but more importantly it's taking
the ethylene gas out of your produce yeah so by doing so
everything's gonna last a lot longer yeah switch shelf
is for ice okay yeah so normally the ice is
made automatically and will dispense in this drawer yeah
so you can see the ice maker behind
there yeah um and then it'll just dispense i get you
and then you'll just get a scooper i love ice
from my cocktails but i don't need a drawer full of ice right
so um i might just if i as long as
i know i can turn it off that's fine europeans aren't big
on ice right we don't really we don't
really do ice right americans love their ice we have our fish tank here
but this is our hidden
surprise that we like to show people it's a secret bar
and then nothing it's not rattling or breaking
which is so cool craziest thing i saw was i think fridge drawers
and freezer drawers underneath it
you never know but these are refrigerator drawers i had
no idea that those things existed
and now i think like i've never seen them before
but now i know that i need those things in my
house yeah 42 yes it's right behind us
and it's in panel ready that's probably one of our best
sellers this 42 french door i think that guy
is too small for us for all your cooking and baking
unless you had some drawers
or something i think it's going to not be enough yeah and there's two
freezer drawers and the top drawer where that bin
is is where your ice will automatically will
dispense there okay and or you don't hook it
on yeah either way you can fit a lot in here you can
Yeah, no, no, I think it's big enough. I do.
I'm not worried about that. That looks like it's big
enough. Like right now we work with an icebox.
Okay. So this is the cooking area, the ranges
and range tops. This is we have our induction cooktop,
which is becoming more popular. You had
induction cooktop.
Yeah, it's becoming more popular still gas is the more preference,
but it definitely we're getting a lot more increase
on the induction. That's interesting.
You know, as a professionally trained chef
at heart, I have to go with gas.
You just have more control and it's easier to work with.
So I would say I'm happy to go with an electric oven
and a gas stovetop.
By far, our most popular is the 48.
OK, so you have the single griddle.
We also have one with the double griddle.
We do a lot of we don't have a toaster.
OK, we don't have a lot of things because we just don't have space for it.
But we do a lot of like toast, toasted sandwiches and stuff.
So we use this a lot.
This is perfect.
yeah chef uses the griddle that's like
her go-to for everything yeah she does shrimp scallops
chicken veggies grilled cheese these grooves help the debris
and grease get in here this goes in
the dishwasher great yeah it's awesome what i'm
so excited to use first time is actually the stove
top because it has that flat griddle
and i love pancakes i love toasted sandwiches i love grilling
and scoring meat on it so that I'm really excited about
but I just can't decide do we get the
smaller griddle or the big big griddle
so I'm kind of mulling that over in my head right now.
This one has two temperature controls
so you could use all the whole thing or you could use half of
it. Let me show you another really cool thing of our showroom.
This is another one of our most
photographed things is our spices then spice racks were awesome
because i hate having in my kitchen
those things like just dotted around
and you're able to see olive oil bottles and vinegar and all
that stuff so if that's just all disappears
that is fine by me i think that is very classy so this
is what it's going to look like
when you're actually using it yeah and here's our chocolate
chips on the burner actually yeah
so you can see it's on the true low simmer so we keep this on
eight to five every day so because it's on this true low simmer yeah
so that's the control that
the wolf has yeah so now we want to talk about wall ovens yes
the common thing is to do one of
these a wall oven and a steam okay or a wall oven
and a speed i think what's going to improve my
baking the most is the steam oven the little one
that we're going to put on top of the other double
oven i do a lot of bread as you know
so um i think that's going to make a huge difference
i'm really excited about that because until
then i've just been throwing water into my
janky old oven and like hoping that will like make steam
and rise my bread but this is like
a legit professional system so this is just steam by itself
so picture like steaming fish
or steaming vegetables steaming rice we bring eggs from home
and put them in a bowl no water
and do them on steam for 15 minutes
and you have perfect hard-boiled eggs if you have holidays you
need an extra oven you can use it for that believe it
or not she did a 19 pound turkey here at
thanksgiving time and she did one in the steam convection humid
and one in the radiant heat oven
they're both delicious but you know the white meat sometimes gets
a little dry on in the turkey so it
was much more moist on this convection humid interesting
and she put 19 19 pounds yeah
19 pounds yeah i think we were definitely sold
on this one yeah this is our m pro which is our
most popular oven what makes it
so great is it has our more sophisticated fan system so because
of the fan tower they were able to radiate out the back 15 percent bigger cavity
and bigger racks which is
nice for your baking this is our E-series still a great oven
but it's our older so just to compare
yeah so you have the two convection fans
and the more traditional layout these are labeled here
yeah okay and that's
because our gourmet feature on the M series you can go to gourmet
pick what you're cooking i'm just going
to pretend i'm doing a prime rib right yeah i'm going to go
to beef i'm going to go to prime rib basically it's like
a chef helper in there you're going to
pick how you like it cooked i'm just going
to do medium done you don't have to be here you can go
elsewhere after half hour we'll take it out
of convection roast put it in regular roast
for the duration of the time yeah this is amazing
and they also have it for baked goods so we
probably should go to that so it's going to ask
are you doing cookies cake pie bread we can just
go to cookies one rack two rack three racks we'll
do two it'll tell you what rack positions to put
it on it's going to do convection
and you're just hit start okay it's like a little chef helper in
there yeah wow i like how big these are i know it's huge compared
to this one it looks huge yeah
i think i think we know what we probably want here
this is great for bread like um that'll be awesome
and then that's my oven on our Wolf hood it's all stainless
the fan is a continuous fan they're not
on in the showroom but that gives you a lot
of control the lights are designed you see how well
lit this is yeah i have to say Brooke got me
when she turned on the infrared lights over the stove
top done sold when i worked
in professional kitchens we would have those to keep plates
warm waiting for servers to come and pick them up
and i just when she turned on those lights
i was like yeah i need me some of those lights from my kitchen
so i'm going to think about it
i'm going to talk to kevin about it
and hopefully we might see those in our new house okay so we
have our ventilation.
So Brooke showed us around she was absolutely awesome.
She gave us the rundown
on all the products.
Now she has a big long laundry list of stuff to get back to us on and
build us our dream kitchen.
This was an absolute dream come true to come down to Wolf and to custom
build my own kitchen. This is insane
and I can't wait for you guys to see it when it's done.
