Happy Friday everyone.
I'm meteorologist Claire Anderson in the Fox 13 Weather Center.
What a beautiful Friday it has been.
Nice mild temperatures, beautiful sunshine.
We are going to see some more clouds heading into more Saturday
with mostly dry conditions for western Washington.
Showers do increase late though Saturday,
starting out along the coast in the North Sound
and then moving further inland heading into Saturday.
Now, a wetter start to our Sunday with more scattered showers
into Sunday with some areas being dry by the evening hours,
especially for the Seahawks game here in town.
Let's take a look at temperatures today.
So right around seasonal average,
it was cooler today compared to yesterday.
Upper 50s, SeaTac, Seattle,
Olympia in the upper 50s along with out along the coast.
63 for Wenatchee this afternoon. And I do want to talk about
sunset. So tonight, sunset is 6:07. This is
the last 6 p.m. Friday sunset because in a week from
today, it's going to be at 5:55.
We go down to the 4 o'clock sunsets, of course,
after we fall back on November 1st. And of course, we
do see those 5 o'clock sunsets start next week. So enjoy this beautiful
Friday evening. Doppler radar today, great
conditions out there we are in between systems we
do see increasing clouds later tonight but
beautiful clear skies across
the state through later tonight Futurecast shows those clouds
increasing this is our next week front starts
to move closer into Saturday mostly cloudy throughout
the day shower chances further north towards the San Juans
and Bellingham but then later in the
evening it starts to sag further south
so by Saturday 11 o'clock notice the showers Bellingham
down towards Westport,
starting to get the Hood Canal, but still dry Seattle.
It's overnight into early Saturday.
We start to see those showers moving through.
And then by lunchtime, most
of the moisture has moved into the Cascades,
still out along the coast,
but the I-5 corridor is looking still rather dry.
Into Sunday evening, we still see a sprinkle
or two lingering through Monday morning,
but we do overall dry out heading into Monday afternoon also.
Wind-wise, I'm moving ahead to Saturday evening
because winds will start to pick up
as those showers move closer on shore.
Sunday, it'll be breezy at times,
especially for the first part of the day.
A little bit calmer through Sunday night,
and then we do see calmer conditions into Monday.
Temperatures tonight, chilly in the south, south, at or below freezing.
Upper 30s, Seattle, Everett, and Bellingham.
Highs tomorrow, mid-50s, Seattle, Bremerton, 53,
Bellingham, 57, Wenatchee, mid-50s out along the coast.
And of course, your Blue Friday forecast,
we do see mostly dry conditions
With those showers staying away from the stadium, it will be cooler,
can't rule out a sprinkle, but again, looking pretty good.
7-day forecast, we see those temperatures staying
in the upper 50s into early next week.
Slight chance of a shower Wednesday, but overall looking
at more sunshine heading into next Thursday and Friday.
Those high temperatures in the upper 50s is right around seasonal.
