Pet of the day: Freddo

Back it is time now for our pet of the day. I almost didn't do this segment alone because so many people were so excited to meet our our pet of the day here and we want to thank Beth with Hero Dog Rescue for bringing in Freddo. Good morning. Hi. Tell us about Freddo. Freddo is estimated to be 11 months old. Estimated to be a border collie mix. He is so soft. He is soft on the sidewalk constantly because he's so pretty and um he is crate trained and walks well on a leash and up to date on all his vaccines and he's neutered and he's playful he is and he's super sweet he wants to snuggle he's got the right the right balance of sort of that energy where he wants to play but he can calm down and like you said wants to snuggle too yes oh my gosh he met a toddler and did completely fine with her okay it was unbelievable because you know toddlers will just yes give them a bear hug around their neck yeah no sense of boundaries no he was totally fine with her and he doesn't have any resource guarding so he should be fine around toddlers as well for that he is he is pretty smart yeah so i think that he's uh he's gonna need some activity like uh some like even if someone has a backyard he's going to need um walks but he does well in the crate so if somebody doesn't work from home or isn't retired um and they want to crate him during the day while they're at work they can do that sounds like a lot of homes that he would be a good fit for we're just trying to see your pretty face freddo that's all we're trying to do there we go oh my goodness hi buddy you got those big paws too he does so this is as big as he's gonna get i mean he might fill out a little bit yeah um but he's 23 pounds right now so he shouldn't get much bigger than this i'm in love i'm in love i know you've got a big event coming up this weekend yeah tomorrow we're going to be at myth and legend coffee shop in cumming and we'll have at least three dogs there and if anybody's interested in any of our dogs they can just go to hero rescue.org and um yeah and freddo is looking for his forever family you got the best fur the best face and the best ears and the best demeanor oh my goodness thank you so much thanks so much joanne all right if you'd like to fill out an adoption application for freddo you can go to hero rescue.org or go to fox5atlanta.com navigate to the good day section and click on pet of the day stay with us we're back with more good day atlanta right after this
