Monta Patty introduces the Japanese folk metal band Omnia, formed in 1999. The creator explores the band's unique fusion of aggressive heavy metal with traditional Japanese melodies and vocals, expressing a strong appreciation for the balance of \"darkness and light\" in their sound and their use of historical and folkloric themes.
Hey guys, it's Monta Patty, how are you?
We have a new group that I want to introduce, it's called Omnia.
They were formed in 1999 and they are a Japanese band.
I had to do a couple of research about them
because I did not know anything about them.
That's the good thing about this channel, I'm always learning.
So I guess they're known for folk metal band through fusion
of aggressive heavy metal and traditional Japanese melody and vocals.
I like that. That's a great balance between darkness and light.
So, um, I guess it's, it's, it's, uh, so you have, uh,
different types of, um, historical figures, um, I guess,
uh, ghosts and a different spirit, uh, different,
uh, folktale, and then you infuse it with this.
I think I'm going to like this um and this is a live version
of I think I'm saying this
how yeah I know I'm saying that wrong because that's
so wrong so um sorry about that I did
practice but I totally forgot
so this is a live version of the song that I cannot say but I know
y'all want to tell me how to say it because
y'all are sweet that way so let's check this out here
you
guys
it's
very
different
but
i
darkness
and
you
know
uh
coming
together
with
the
you
know
the melody that they they came up with it's um it's
so unique and i was looking up um you know
the meaning the name the name of the song
so i guess it's a supreme leader or a king so it has
to still i need to know i didn't find anything about
the song i need to know you know as you
know was he enchanted you know what mysteries
are different darkness that surrounds you know
this particular uh person uh yeah
to let me know i like it i'm going to do more research on them
but i know there is an interview out there
but it's in japanese so i need to read and and change
it you know into english and then
the next time i would definitely know about um each of the band
member but i like it it's
so different i can't compare them to the Wagakki you know the Wagakki
band because they have a different sound you know um both great bands
and like i said i need to do
more research on this and when um this popped up i
was like oh my gosh i think i'm gonna like this
um and i do i love love love love love love love love love
