Welcome back to TMZ Sports.
A former ESPN host turned Trump administration employee
got into it with some fans at an NBA game last night,
and it wound up with this woman literally throwing something
at another fan.
Now, that right there is Britt McHenry.
Britt McHenry is, as of a couple of weeks ago,
about a month and a half ago,
a State Department press advisor.
So part again, part again of the Trump administration.
Well, last night she was in the D.C. area for the Milwaukee Bucks
and the Wizards game.
Well, as you saw there, she threw something at a fan
and then she walks out up the stairs and out of the arena.
Now, what happened?
Well, we have talked to people who are close to Britt,
and they say that there was somebody
who yelled something that was disrespectful about Kyle Kuzma.
Kyle Kuzma was one time a Wizards player,
not anymore, now with the visiting Bucs,
and Kyle Kuzma is engaged to model Winnie Harlow.
So, story goes that Britt wants to have the back of Winnie and starts
kind of jawing with the fan who said something bad about Winnie.
They say that Britt had something thrown at her.
And, well, then she responds, she's not good.
This is not good.
Not good.
As you see, obviously, then people are throwing things
and yelling things at her on her way out.
Yeah, she is so incredibly hateable.
I mean, the way that she's walking away with the, you know,
she's blowing the kisses, she's strutting her stuff.
But having said all that, we don't know what the person said to her.
The guy could have easily deserved.
There's so many words in the English dictionary
that you could have said to Britt McHenry at that point
in time to have to warrant a drink being thrown in your face.
So, I mean, we don't know.
I mean, it wasn't escalated in anything really serious where police had
to get involved and all that stuff.
But, yeah, not how you want to open the season
if you're a Wizards fan or whatnot.
But, yeah, I don't know.
Just a really weird scenario going on here.
Well, see, I mean, I would argue, you know,
that that obviously there's no place for that in the sport.
I don't think, you know, fans chirping at the team and everything.
Like, you know, Kyle Kuzma, I am a Wizards fan.
Kyle Kuzma obviously spent a little time there.
Kind of a not very friendly exit from the team.
Right.
He wore that sweater, right?
Yeah, he wore that sweater.
I actually have that bobblehead.
It's crazy.
I don't know why.
But, you know, I mean, there's no love lost between Wizards fans
and Kyle Kuzma, obviously.
I mean, he was getting booed the entire night,
anytime he would even get the ball passed to him.
Really?
But, you know, it kind of sucks that that had to happen, especially
on a night where the Wizards went over 500 for the first time.
And over 1,400 days since 2022.
Yeah, I think she's got
to be smarter.
And look, this is not the first time
that she has been involved in controversy.
You can go back a decade to when she had an incident with I want to say
it was a tow truck driver at the time she got she got in trouble.
So there have been instances over the years.
But if you are a spokesperson
or a communications person in the government,
you've got I think you've got to just be a little bit smarter here.
And if someone's saying something to you,
I am not advocating for telling on people
who are trying to yell and have some fun at a game.
But go and get somebody. Yeah, don't throw things.
Now, I think there's a chance
that this could potentially put her job at risk.
And she's been doing it for like six weeks. She just got there.
